I have ordered a 4-pack three times over the years as I replaced a similar design by another manufacturer. In winter in coastal NC, I get around 3 hours of light per night, while these shine most or all night the other 9 months of the year. I have 22 lights on a pier that gets a good 8+ hours of sunlight except in winter. Sturdy and reliable, I have some running 6 years after first installation. I have had 2 of 12 go bad over the years, seemingly when the photocells went bad. I do replace the mounting screws with hex-head stainless screws to quickly remove the lights during hurricane storm surge. They have been submerged for up to 6 hours twice when I misjudged flooding, but they are all still running great. I do prefer the Enloop or Panasonic batteries when I replace the supplied batteries at around 3 years. Overall, these are a solid, bright, and reliable choice at a good price. Read more

Installed four of these on my boat dock. Due to the layout of my lift canopy, the units get four different durations of sunlight during the day. One gets light virtually all day. It stays on all night long (12 hours) no problem. The second unit gets about 4 or five hours of light. It will last about 6 hours. The last two get about 2 or 3 hours of recharge sunlight. I found these to be the best priced for ground placement. Typically about six hours of light from enclosed rechargeable batteries. Replacing the batteries with AA which offer higher current capacity will result in eight hours or more after a full days charge in direct sunlight. Less than direct sunlight or cloudy conditions will reduce operating time. Other than one unit which got into a battle with my zero turn lawn machine (it lost that battle) the other seven I have deployed along a walkway between wife’s hobby shop & the back door of the house have performed everyday for more than 12 months. No leaks, no charging failures & no diminished LED light output. I added more this year to the steps to my deck. Installation is easy. You can just lay the along walkway, they are heavy enough to prevent them blowing away. While the can be secured with screws this will preclude easy moving to prevent lawn mower wars. I recommend these to light your way into the night, at least the first six hours. Read more

Love these lights on my lake house pier. I have 38 of these and pull the batteries every winter. I bought a 16 bank charger and use that twice in the winter to keep the battery longevity longer, so I pull all the batteries out and use a piece of Velcro on the back side and a matching size piece on my permanent pier. They are on so solid it take a bit to remove them, no one has ever kicked one loose. On my old wood pier I used to screw them in and remove annually. I have been running these 6 plus months a year since 2018 and for 7 seasons now I have had to replace only 4. So slick, I get great comments, no bugs with the blue vs. white is awful. I would love to hear back from the seller as this product does NOT perform adequately or as advertised I purchased this product (4 lights) in early 2025; On initial review the lights appeared to be really well made and solid. however the solar charging of the batteries is far less that what is acceptable. I live in Florida and have an adequate supply of sunlight daily; however the lites do not remain on any longer than four hours. And already one of them is hardly functioning at all. Great product idea but the production needs to be enhanced to charge better and give longer lighting. Read more
