I wish I had found this case years ago. It’s incredibly durable, well made and works exactly as you’d hope. It protects your AirPods, doesn’t pop open when dropped, the magnetic closure is super strong and the case doesn’t scuff or scratch when dropped or banged against something. The opening mechanism is also VERY sturdy. You can tell from the feel when you open or close it that they used a high quality spring. I also find the color very appealing, plus the locking mechanism works like a charm. Even the carabiner is top notch. There’s just nothing to fault here. I’ve been using AirPod cases since the original AirPods, and I’ve tried multiple case styles for each iteration that I’ve owned. This case is by far the best, and it’s not even close. This is quite a rugged case. It is well built and everything functions as it should. I was a little skeptical about the wireless charging working but it charges without any issue. The hinged lid is quite a cool feature as it springs open once you release the latch. It looks nice as well. I would definitely feel confident if I dropped them while in this case they would not pop out and scatter about. Before my trip, I tried out MANY earpod cases. These felt like they were the best and I am so glad I chose them. I travelled over 3500 miles on the Germany train system over 7 weeks. I was able to KEEP MY CASE CLIPPED TO THE OUTSIDE OF MY BAG with confidence. It felt SAFE from pickpockets because it takes more than one step to open but it is easy and fast for me to open. It is waterproof and super durable with a beefy clip. It charges magnetically or with a cable and is easily located with Find My. I ALWAYS knew where my case was!! Everyone comments on it. When family and friends look at it they want to know where I got it. Although my trip is over, I still use this case on the daily. I picked up this case for my AirPods Pro 3 because I’m notoriously hard on my everyday tech, and I wanted something that could actually keep up. Right out of the box, this case feels seriously heavy-duty, in the best way. The material has that satisfying sturdiness you usually only get from higher-priced rugged cases, but without adding a ridiculous amount of bulk or weight. The locking mechanism is one of my favorite touches. It’s a small feature that makes a big difference because it keeps the top from popping open if you drop it or it gets jostled around in a bag. It also just makes the whole thing feel intentional and secure. The carabiner is solid too, not the flimsy decorative kind. so I actually trust it clipped to my backpack. I haven’t (thankfully) had to test the “waterproof” or “shockproof” claims, but based on how overbuilt the shell feels, I don’t doubt it can handle way more than everyday wear and tear. Even just carrying it around, you can tell it’s made to take hits that would dent or crack a standard AirPods case instantly. What I appreciate most is the balance: it looks sleek enough that it doesn’t scream “military gear,” but feels tough enough that I’m not babying my AirPods anymore. For the price, this is a genuinely impressive upgrade. If you want real protection with thoughtful features and a premium feel, this case delivers. Great heavy duty case. The air pods fit like a glove! Extremely secure! The reason I am giving this a 4/5 is because of the clip. The clip is a very odd shape and wont clip anywhere on my gym bag, also the small key ring that connects the clip to the case is extremely weak. Easily pulled apart/broken. Read more
The case looks and feels well made. I love the color. I have so many black colored personal items already, so the change is nice. The AirPods Pro 3 case fits perfectly. The one thing I was worried about after purchasing it was losing the double tap pairing mode on the original charging case. It still works after receiving this case and testing that feature. You just have to tap a little harder. The double locking mechanism is easy to use. Instead of snapping it closed to avoid wear, I press the locking latch, close the lid, and then release the latch. That also makes it quieter than the snap sound. The built-in phone holder is perfect for my iPhone as well. One thing I did notice when I received my order and opened the shipping container, the outer box had been opened, part of it torn. I was wondering if it was a refurbished or returned item I received; or someone was being nosey in transit. It looks and works fine though. Also there is conflicting information on the outer box regarding water exposure. It's advertised as waterproof, but there are small symbols on the outer box that display its features. The case is just as pictured, nice and sturdy. I love the way the case locks so when it falls, the case won’t open and the AirPods won’t pop out, I like the opening at the bottom to charge the case. The case is a lil bigger and heavier than others but I love it because it’s waterproof. A lil pricy but hey you get what you pay for. Read more
