I've enjoyed Super Matcha's sweet matcha sticks for some time now. The mix makes an okay shake with water, but I really enjoy it as a latte (mixed with one's milk of choice). I've always found it to mix fairly well with shaking (I use a Super Matcha bottle) and it makes a pretty tasty latte. I wish it used stevia for all of the sweetening, since consuming a lot of erythritol can bother my stomach, but one serving a day has been fine. For me, this is definitely a mix for lattes, since when I want regular matcha, hot or cold, I prepare it without any sweeteners. Overall, I enjoy this mix because I've been using it more than any other sweetened matcha mix. Sadly, the price high and has continued to go up since I first tried it. I rate this pack of sticks as 4 stars, with the idea that it's an occasional treat. Read more

SUPER MATCHA Korean Sweet Matcha Powder is an unusual tea product. On their Amazon webpage they have a very nice discussion of the different kinds of matcha and how it is grown, apparently they use the highest grade organic matcha to make this drink. However, they add erythritol and steviol glucoside to the matcha to make it sweet. I am a great fan of pure, unsweetened matcha tea. To me, the sweet test overwhelms the matcha taste. I prefer to avoid erythritol based on recent research I have read. The directions on the package recommend mixing the powder with milk or water. I suspect this is targeted at the matcha latte community. It is a convenient package for travel. Read more

I love matcha lattes and have a few different ceremonial grade matcha powders. I was excited to try out these single use sachets because they are pre-sweetened and very low calorie. I've ingested things with erithrytol in them without any issues, though artificial sweeteners are not my go-to - I'd rather use a tiny amount of honey or raw sugar, but of course the calories will go up. Maybe it was the steviol glucoside in this, but I found it way too sweet and it had a disgusting, sweet-bitter aftertaste that lingered with every sip. I used a copious amount of milk but it didn't mask the horrible aftertaste. This product is pretty expensive for what it is, but I would have been willing to spend it if the flavor was actually good. Perhaps it would have been better if the product was a mix of matcha and the natural sweetness of instant milk, leaving out sweeteners altogether. Read more

This matcha is slightly more sweet than normal matcha, and it works well for making a quick matcha latte or just matcha tea drinks. I like to add a little more honey for more sweetness, since matcha tends to be a little bitter, but the quality of the matcha is great and there are no problems. Overall this is some really nice matcha Read more

High quality matcha at an ultra premium price. Serving size/amount in packet is perfect- about 2 tsp, maybe a hair over. Convenient for on the go use, but I will reach for my jar of matcha for at home use (and I use ceremonial usually). Really quite pricy per packet (currently $5.40 per stick). Really outside my personal budget, but I dont rate on price. Further down on page this is listed as decaffeinated. I am assuming that is not the case as I get my usual "good feels" from this. But details like that bother me. I like to mix this with oatmilk. I shake it or use a hand frother. I didnt try stirring because I am so used to how I do it. I have been drinking it cold as I prefer my matcha as a cold drink. Would probably be very nice with hot water or hot milk. Read more

This matcha drink mix is not my favorite as I did not realize it was sweetened. The matcha flavor itself was fine and if you are looking for a sweet drink, you’d probably enjoy it just fine. Read more

Pros: Decent Taste - This tastes like a smooth matcha, and it is pretty good for a matcha. Mixes Well - Can spoon mix and pretty much get most of the powder mixed well. Low Calorie - Only 16 calories (according to my label) per serving, which differs from the product website listing (14 calories) Neutral: Decent expiration - Order Date: 12/5/23 Expiration Date: 9/5/25 Artificial Sweeteners - This makes it low calorie, but some people do not like artificial sweeteners and this has erythritol and steviol glycosides Cons: Somewhat expensive - There are 5 servings here yet, it is currently around ~$5 per serving, that is pretty expensive. I really do like this a lot, it's better in milk but good in water too. It is kind of sweet, it mixes well and didn't clog my frother. It's just that it's over $5 per serving and I've gotten entire bags of powder that were more economical. This is more convenient and portable since it is in pre-measured packets, so it's nice to have some on-the-go, but I'd rather have it in bulk where I can mix it how I want also. Other than that, it's just what you'd expect, very great tasting, high quality matcha powder, thanks! :D Read more
