These are incredible! They make it so easy to move our 72+ lb ottoman. With the sliders underneath, even my four-year-old can push it around the room! Thankfully, they’re easy to add and remove, so I can slide the ottoman into place when needed and then take the sliders off—keeping it from being moved out of place by little hands. We recently bought a new sectional and ottoman. The ottoman is designed to slide into the sectional to create a large, bed-like lounging area. That’s actually why I chose this set—I imagined all four of us piling on for cozy family movie nights. But in reality, it was a struggle to move the ottoman in and out of place, so we weren’t using it like I’d hoped. Most of the time, we prefer the ottoman turned 90° to use it in a more traditional way—but again, it was such a hassle to reposition. These sliders completely solved that problem! I was nervous they wouldn’t work with the L-shaped legs on our ottoman, but they work perfectly. Read more

The SuperSliders worked so much better than I expected!!! 10/10 would buy again and will! I bought the rectangular shaped ones because most of my furniture doesn't have four legs but is flush with the floor. For example, this morning I was able to move my 65" tall cat tree but putting 4 SuperSliders under the 4 corners of the base of the tree. I couldn't believe how well they worked especially since the base of the tree is 100% carpet. It saved my back a lot of pain as well. The rectangular shape also works just fine for my furniture that does have 4 legs. The grip on the bottom (black side) of the SuperSlider grips just about everything as far as I can tell! Only problem I had was due to the way my flooring was done. There are a few parts that are raised because the subfloor has some issues. On those raised parts of the floor, the SuperSliders did get stuck and got left behind when I was moving the cat tree, but really this was a minor inconvenience. Because I had saved all the energy from what would normally be spent on pushing or dragging the tree, spending a little extra to put the sliders back under was no big deal. I just had my carpets cleaned so I can't wait to move all of my furniture back into the house. Currently it's all in the kitchen and normally it would be a hassle but now I have this amazing product! This is great for someone who likes to constantly rearrange their furniture ;) Read more

...But as you would expect with most Big Box Stores, they tend to say "Oh, you want to buy this item AGAIN? Oopsy... Not in stock.. Wait! Where are you going? Why is Amazon getting so much of our business?" It's a pity as the "local" price is only eight bucks. But I could sell it myself for fifty cents if I didn't actually have to stock them. Plus ordering them Here saves me an 80 mile round trip. :) Now that these "7037"s (aka 4703795N) have arrived, I was able to eyeball them and I would say they do look just like the previous locally-bought ones. Unlike the majority of the wood floor "slider pads" available, this one isn't in the shape of a "circle" so it's quite useful for everything that DOESN'T have individual "legs". It wouldn't be useful for the average chair or sofa, but the "rectangular" shape is useful for items like cabinets and shelves. As to the item itself, it's just a thick rubbery-pad thingee on one side and a soft slidey-wood-floor-friendly-felt on the other side. It's pretty sturdy, but obviously if you overload the thing with too much weight you'll end up crushing it. Over time you may end up with "indentations" in the rubbery side from whatever is pressing into it, as the soft material isn't indestructible. Also if there is "dirt/stuff" on the floor and it gets "caught" in the felt, you could risk scratching your floor's surface, so be watchful of that. I've got several sets of shelves that lack "legs" but instead have wood pieces which are an inch wide by seven inches long. A "circle" pad wouldn't work for those shelves, but with these "rectangular" pads I can slide the shelves around and keep the wood floor safe. Also I have seen people "cut up" the rectangles into shorter pieces - smaller squares - to use with furniture where the owner did not want to use a larger (and more noticeable) "circle" pad. I have ordered two sets of these from Amazon, and after they passed inspection have ordered another set. Easier than driving all over the state looking for them. Unrelated: Versions? I located one of the "store bought ones" and held them side-by-side. Only difference is the packaging. If you mixed them together, you couldn't tell them apart. Identical. All are excellent quality and incredibly useful for where Circle Pads wouldn't be the best choice. I've got a project lined up where I''ll be lifting (with help) a Really Heavy Piece and removing all the useless large Circle Pads and replacing them with these Rectangular Pads. Piece is so big and has so many "edges/corners" that I could use at least ten of these rectangles and still have room for more. These definitely work. Im in my 40s and i recently got new furniture and had to move a lot of stuff around. This made it so much easier. If you have to make turns you might need to readjust but it really does help a lot and my back and shoulder are definitely very thankful to have these! Read more

I wanted to rearrange my home office but my standing desk is pretty heavy and not the easiest to move on my own so I purchased these. I was honestly a bit skeptical that they would really work as easily as they were supposed to... but I was pleasantly surprised to find they do work that easily. The hardest part was lifting each of the legs on my desk to put these under it. Once I had them installed, I barely had to touch my desk and it was moving across the carpeting. I decided to leave them under my desk legs instead of removing them and having to reinstall if I want to move it again. The only thing now, with leaving them installed, is remembering they're there and not lean on my desk because it'll go sliding! Read more
