These come as a pair, so I used one of them in my outdoor shed. It turns on when I open the door because it has a motion sensor. I was very pleased about that. The other solar light did not work no matter what mode I put it on. That second light was not as bright either. I placed that solar panel in direct sunlight all day. I did not see a remote control for this pair. But it has an easy button to change between modes. I do like the design of the holder that I can screw into wood and then slide the light source into. Then the solar panel itself also has the same holder design where I can screw it in place near my roof and slide the solar panel into. It comes with screws and anchors if needed. Read more

These lights are really good. I like how they can be dim and then they turn brighter when you walk up on them. They last quite a while at night and they don’t die. The only thing I would suggest is that the company include better screws because the screws they come with are terrible as the heads break off a lot. Read more

I'm using these around my farm to give some lighting to out-of-the-way areas. We've had several weeks of single digit to sub-zero temps here this winter, and these have worked wonderfully!! They charge up even on cloudy days, and last all night long (at least on the setting I'm using, which is the "dim, until triggered").
