These make moving furniture like tables, couches, bookcases, and more easy to move. Once you've found good positioning (if the thing you're trying to move has 'feet' put these under those areas), it's easy to push or pull furniture as needed. Keep in mind that these are for rug or carpet, not solid floors (those are usually felt sliders). The different sizes help for the different types of furniture you may need moving. These work well. It requires a bit of finesse to keep the sliders under the feet of some furniture, especially case goods (chest of drawers, etc.). Push up high and the furniture can distort enough to unload a leg, allowing the slider to slip out from underneath. But with a bit of attention you can move some pretty massive pieces of furniture with relative ease. Our error was continuing from carpet to tile with the carpet sliders in place. We had momentum and wanted to carry on so we crossed 8 feet of tile. That was enough to scuff the sliders. The coefficient of friction went from near-zero to near-infinity and our furniture sliders became furniture brakes. That was on the last day we needed them. Should I need them again I may try to sand and buff them to restore performance or simply order another set. My suggestion would be to not use the carpet sliders on any but soft surfaces and they should last for multiple moves. Great product! I used it to move my bedside table, dressers, and bed. My bed is a queen size but very heavy, I lifted each corner of the bed and had some one place the round piece under each corner, If alone I probably would had to use my feet to kick the piece under each corner. After that I could have pushed it in place myself but it was 2 of us pushing together,one on each corner. In addition, I had a furniture delivery crew use these, I had a 700lb marble table delivered and they struggled so they used this once they got to the entrance and pushed it on in on the hardwood floor and carpet all the way to my dining room with no problem. This 52 piece variety pack is a better value compared to other Super Sliders products but the quality control between the two packs I ordered was significant. The first pack pack contained clean sliders, without scuff marks, black dots, or adhesive glue.. The second pack contained sliders with numerous scuff marks, black spots, and residual adhesive glue. I generally prefer the brand Super Sliders compared to other options on Amazon because they are low profile and usually perform better but based on the poor quality control of my most recent order, I'm seriously considering the other brands now, since they are considerably cheaper.
