I bought this right after I had rotator cuff surgery and it was a game changer. I started wearing it about 4 weeks after surgery . I’m a big guy and it adjusted fine to my needs. Recently had rotator cuff and bicep surgery. Living the sling life, this was approved by my physical therapist to use at home. Sturdy, comfortable, good quality and couldn't beat the price. The reason I decided to order the Supergear Arm Sling is how versatile it is, being able to be used in four different positions. I did find that having it around my neck was not comfortable, but with it slung over my shoulder it worked very well. Besides rubbing around my neck, even though the material is soft, it also pulled my neck down and made it not as easy to move my neck. I like that both ends have strong Velcro fasteners, and that I was easily able to readjust the sling throughout the day. This was very nice later in the day when my arm was more sore and I could bring it closer to my body for extra comfort. Besides being soft, it’s lightweight and it didn’t make my arm sweaty. And purple is my favorite color, so this was an extra bonus for me. Read more

If you got a shoulder fracture/tear ligament this Sling is NOT for you. The material isn't flexible enough and the pain that would cause you is excruciating and unbelievable. I wouldn't recommended and I'll return the item Read more
