Safe, easy, rechargeable, environmentally friendly alternative to butane lighters.
The media could not be loaded. Great Features: -Longer length for reaching into areas. Top is very flexible. -Safety slide bar to cover ignition switch and prevent accidental lighting and overall safer than alternatives. -More Environmentally friendly than alternatives -No open flame. -60-80 lights before recharge. 300 charge life cycle. 220 mAh. -Auto shut off around 10 seconds. -Micro USB charging cord (mini cord) included. -Fair price point for all the features. This has a light stainless steel exterior with a loop for hanging. It is longer than most at about 10 in which is a plus when lighting candles in deep jars or for something you don’t want to be as close to. It charges with a mini USB cord at the bottom so no mess. The top is very flexible to bend for your needs. Manufacturer says 1-2 hrs for full recharge. Safety—There is the added safety feature of slide bar that covers the ignition button and if you hold the ignition button for about 10 seconds it’s safety feature will turn it off. There is no open flame to contend with but you can be burned by the arc although it would be a very small burn area. Arc lighters produce heat via a small arc of high voltage electrical current that’s hotter than a traditional lighter but in a more concentrated area. More environmentally friendly since you are not using butane gas and it’s long lasting. Although unnecessary for function and a bit of a gimmick, it does as described and glows in the dark for a short while after being exposed to light for a while. Be sure to gently clean off points between the arc area as wax and soot can accumulate and possibly effect the function. Every household should have one. Makes a great host gift, stocking stuffer or general gift. I’ve bundled as a gift along with a candle and wick cutter and it’s always a big hit. Read more
