My last air fryer by another famous maker did not last all that long. And was very noisy Results were not always consistent. And was higher priced. But when it broke I really missed it. On a much tighter budget right now that I have retired fully. I saw this one. Great price, plus it was on sale and had very good reviews. I am so glad I did. This is a large 8 quart machine. The volume seems to be primarily in its drawer length. But it is plenty deep as well. It is attractive on my counter as well. I have cooked twice in it. First time some frozen French fries. The crispness of them was soooo much better than my old machine with very even cooking. The same thing when I used it a second time to make some frozen breaded fish. Turned out very crispy. The machine is so quiet I kept going and feeling of it to make sure it was working. My old one, the sides of the machine got very hot. This one, sides are slightly warm to touch, but nothing more. The buttons on the front work very well. I am curious about the roasting feature and can’t wait until whole chickens go on sale as I want to try it. But so far am loving the machines look, functionality , ease of use and how very quiet it is. And. Last but definitely not least, it produces a superior result when compared to my old machine Update: Several months later, almost daily use. Sometimes a couple of times daily. It still works great and I feel it has already worked better than other much more famous air fryer brands for me. Very large basket. Multi functional as far as roasting, baking, air frying. A couple of larger things I have put in that were probably too tall, close to the heating mechanism did burn on the top, but that was my error. The buttons are a little picky. By that I mean one function you have to press on it for a second or two to turn it on. Others you need to quickly press and remove your finger But I still give it five stars because it is such a huge improvement over a much more expensive unit I had prior to this one that did not last even 6 months. And it does a better job. The frozen fries are crispy. Just a nice job overall. Read more

The SUR LA TABLE 5-in-1 Compact Air Fryer has completely revolutionized the way I cook! The 8-quart capacity is perfect for preparing meals for my family, yet the compact design doesn’t take up too much counter space. I love the versatility – from air frying to roasting, baking, reheating, and dehydrating, this appliance truly does it all. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, and the cooking presets take all the guesswork out of meal prep. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, giving everything a deliciously crispy finish without the need for excessive oil. Cleanup is a breeze too, thanks to the non-stick basket. If you’re looking for a high-quality, multifunctional air fryer, this is the one to get. It’s sleek, efficient, and a joy to use – I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Read more

Easy to set up and clean between uses. It was a little confusing to work at first, but it made more sense after the first couple uses. I like that it has a light so I can check on my food without opening, and that I can adjust the time and temperature without stopping the cook. Everything I’ve made in here so far has been delicious, and the crisper rack really makes for a good all over crisp. This air fryer is much larger than my last one, and I feel that it isn’t wasting space with bulky parts diminishing space for food. The touch buttons are very responsive and I haven’t had any issues, even with greasy or damp fingers while cooking. All in all, I would repurchase this air fryer as long as this one lasts a couple years. Read more

Cooks well and has really good features. The inside size is very handy. The price point was really good for a name brand unit. Looks nice and sleek on my countertop. I deducted one star for the horrible smell it imparts. I did the 400 degree for 30 minutes in the garage. Then I cooked in the house a few days later and it filled my house with a plastic, acrid smell. So back into the shed and cooked some eggplant in it, it slightly tainted the flavor. I hope this burns off soon, its annoying. Read more

Perfect size for what we use it for; sides for meals or snacks for the kids. Kids are independent enough to make food, but not use stove or oven. This gives them a great option to make their favorite stuff all by themselves. Easy to operate and clean. Read more

This is my first try at air frying. I like the size of this one, and seems to be easy to clean, so far. The one thing I am having a problem with is the smell -it is horrible! Like one reviewer mentioned, it smells like burnt plastic, and the whole hose smelled like that. After cleaning it and running it empty at 400 several times, the smell still lingers in the whole house. A grilled cheese sandwich, which was nice and crispy on the outside, tasted like the awful smell. I have now used lemon and vinegar in the unit, and letting it run empty at 400 again, several times, and sill getting that “taste” in the food. I saw other reviews that complained about the smell, but I didn’t think much of that because I have had other appliances that had a chemical smell at first, but went away quickly, and didn’t affect the taste of any food. I ended up sending this back after about 4 weeks. As soon as it was out of the house, I did not smell that smell anymore. Read more
