Comfort Meets Style, But No Length Options

These pants strike a nice balance between comfort and appearance, especially for the price. For reference, I’m 5'10", 188 lbs, and typically wear a 36-inch waist. Based on the elastic waistband design, I decided to size down to a 34 — and that turned out to be the right choice. The elastic built into the waistband provides some flexibility, so the smaller size fits comfortably without feeling tight. If you're between sizes, sizing down may be worth considering. The closure design is a bit unconventional. Instead of a traditional single-button or hook closure, these use two buttons along with a drawstring. Combined with the elastic waistband, the overall feel is more “hybrid” — somewhere between dress pants and elevated lounge wear. It’s not necessarily a downside, but it’s different from standard tailored slacks and may not appeal to someone looking for a fully traditional dress pant structure. The biggest consideration is length. There’s no option to choose an inseam, and the size 34 measures approximately 42 inches in total length — significantly longer than a typical off-the-rack inseam for someone my height. Plan on hemming them unless you’re quite tall. That said, it’s far better for pants to run long than too short, and tailoring solves the issue easily. Overall, these are good-looking, comfortable dress-style pants at a reasonable price point. Just be prepared for alterations, and consider sizing down if you’re between waist sizes. Read more

Stylish and well made, odd back pocket

These pants really did meet my expectations. They are exactly as shown and described in the listing. It’s made of a very high quality, medium thickness linen and polyester blend that really feels like solid piece of linen. It also has 6% spandex in it, but it’s not very stretchy at all. Just a super slight stretching capability. The material is very comfort And quite related feeling to support the casual dressy style. It fits very well, but has kind of a baggy look to them just like it’s shown in the listing. These are certainly more for fashion purposes than anything. My husband likes how it complements a lot of his nicer shirts. The button is off centered giving it more of a dressy look than casual. Theres also a button inside to support the closure even better so there’s not any strain on the outside button for it to remain stylish. The buttons are all very secure and sewn into the pants very well. The back pocket is odd though. It is a full pocket, but there’s a 3-4 inch stitch on the inside of the pants at the top of the pocket preventing you from being able to put anything in it. I feel like you could definitely use an inseam ripper to take that out easily and restore a whole pocket. It could easily fit a whole phone in there and certainly could fit a wallet. But with the extra stitching there, you can’t put anything in it and that makes me think it’s primarily for fashion purposes. These stitching overall is very well done with no loose threads or errors. Every hem is done very securely and I feel like the high quality stitching will allow it to last for a long time to come. These are quite light pants and are pretty breathable. I think you could wear these all year long. Overall, this pants set is worth the money. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Read more

Classy looking and very comfortable pants. Beware the back pocket, though.

Very nice, soft, comfortable pants. The specs say they're mostly polyester, but if you didn't tell me that I'd swear they're 100% cotton linen. Very supple, breathable material. The double-button front closure, along with the pleated front and elastic waist band, ensure these pants ride nicely on your waist and don't sag. They've even included a draw string to cinch them a bit tighter if you need, something I haven't seen outside the context of basketball shorts or sweat pants. Nice deep front pockets provide a safe place for change, keys, or a phone. The baggy look gives them a sense of class, like something you'd see in a Cary Grant movie. The only problem with the pair I got (I don't know if this is a one-off or system wide) is that while the opening for the back pocket is normal width, the inside pocket has stitching down the side that restricts its width. I could not get a wallet inside. Read more

Runs long. Comfy. Not typical looking dress pants.

I'm 6 foot tall and am not used to pants being long. These aren't long enough to cuff (!) or hem (!!) but are long enough to look a little baggy or even schlumpy, though I understand that's the look that hip old people dig these days. The elastic waistband that can make them forgiving of a holiday meal or two. They're a soft material, so combine that with the elastic and they're quite comfortable by dress slack standards. They're a good balance of more comfortable than "real" dress pants, while not looking like clones from the office. The stitching seemed well done. I couldn't find any frays. Read more
