I recently purchased this tent that attaches to the back of my car, and I couldn't be happier with this product! As an avid camper and road-tripper, I've used various tents over the years, but this one is a game-changer. The setup process was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I was able to get it attached to my SUV and fully pitched in under 15 minutes, which is a huge plus after a long drive. The quality of the materials is excellent. The fabric feels durable and waterproof, and the zippers are sturdy and don't snag. We had a bit of rain on our first trip, and the tent stayed completely dry inside. I was particularly impressed with the amount of space it provides. It comfortably fit a queen-sized air mattress with plenty of room to spare for our gear. The connection to the car's cargo area is seamless and creates a perfect extension of our vehicle, which is incredibly convenient for accessing power outlets, charging devices, and just having a quick, sheltered spot to grab things. The design is also well-thought-out, with large mesh windows for ventilation and excellent bug protection. The media could not be loaded. Just got this tent out for its first camping trip and we were really impressed. This was the 2nd tent of its type that we bought. The reason I like this one more is because although you can attach it around the bottom of your car, you don’t have to and it still has a pretty decent seal from the outside. After traveling for hours the exhaust is hot and the last option we got didn’t work with that. You cant put a tent over a hot exhaust or it’ll burn. Also if you need to start your car you dont want to have to undo your entire tent. This one I love that it’s free standing to you can unhook your car and leave in a breeze. We have our mattress in our Subaru outback and then use the tent for changing, holding all of our totes/coolers, keeping out of the sun, and to have a place to hangout in the rain. Its tall enough that even out friends that are 6’3” fit well. One of my favorite features is the flap that goes in the back of your car giving it a seemless transition from tent to car. I will also say this tent is impressively air tight. During take down we pulled the poles out and still have a big bubble where air was holding inside. The windows are large and create great air flow throughout when open. Set up and take down were very easy, we just beefed up the stakes. A couple of pockets inside were nice and a hook to hang your lantern on. Definitely worth the money! My one downside would be how thin the black layer is on the ground. Definitely need a good thick tarp under the tent, if you’re on a rocky site it could tear with feet being on it. Overall very impressed with size, quality, ease, and space! Read more

I bought this tent for a short trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, where lodging is limited or distant. I viewed it as an alternative to the cost of motel rooms and driving back and forth. I wasn't planning on using it repeatedly and don't expect it to last that long, given the price. I will use it again for similar trips. That said, it set up quickly and attached to the cargo area of my Jeep Renegade nicely. It's roomy enough for two people, and the height makes moving around in it easy. Attaching to the Jeep created additional space for equipment storage or the dog bed. The pictures and description on Amazon are accurate. We used it only once so far, for a 3-night trip in early summer. it leaked around the door in a nighttime rain storm, and we woke up to a substantial puddle inside the tent near the door. (FYI - My older Coleman two-man tent did not leak.) I have not investigated that issue thoroughly yet to determine if it was a tent flaw or user error. Pros: inexpensive, adequate headroom, attachment to the Jeep was water tight. Easy set-up and take-down. Light weight. Stows into the carrier bag easier than heavier tents. Cheaper than a hotel room for multiple nights stay. Cons: Thin fabric overall, including the floor. Make certain to bring a tarp for under the tent, very dark when the rain fly is attached, leaked terribly around the door during an overnight rain. Read more

This is a well designed and made car tent. Tough and water resistant material is good for use outdoor in sunny and rainy weather. Can be attached to side or back of the car, SUV, truck or van. Easy to setup and use. Good size and space inside the tent. Roomy with side windows and shades that can be opened with zipper. Ceiling hook allows light to be hang at the ceilings. Spacious and easy to set up. The tent connects well to my SUV and stayed dry during rain thanks to the PU3000 waterproof fabric. Lightweight but sturdy, and there’s plenty of room for two people and gear. Great upgrade for car camping trips. Read more
