The less hair you have, the bigger difference it will make; but it will help to keep anybody's temperature lower when working, playing, or relaxing in the heat. It does what it should. It wicks away sweat, and the evaporation properties keep it nice and cool just by getting it wet and swinging or twirling it in the air. It is very light. It washes by hand easily and dries quickly. When I first saw the stitched seams, I thought they were going to be uncomfortable because they were quite big. I always get an itchy head when riding motorcycle too long. I have heard that wearing a dorag can help with this, so I thought I'd try this out. The material is a nice thin, breathable fabric, shaped perfectly for your head so as not to have extra, bulky fabric. I love the color I got. I have an average to maybe even large head (for my size as a shorter woman) and it seems to fit appropriately. If someone has an exceptionally large head, it might not fit so well. I spend lots of time outdoors working and sweating and hate when that sweat drips on my glasses, this wicks up the sweat and can also be made wet to help cool you! Works just like the other cooling towels when I put them on my head and tie in the back but this fits better (knot is smaller) and looks better.
