I have used other Matcha powders, and thought they were OK, but after using this one I see that they weren't that good after all! This powder is very fine, mixes very well, doesn't cake up or settle to the bottom of the cup , has a nice subtle taste, and is in a great jar, which keeps it fresh, and easy to access. I can't see any reason to try a different one in the future. Read more

I'm no Matcha expert, so take my words with a grain of salt, but this tasted alright. Although the instructions say to use one scoop for each 16 ounces of hot water, this seems a bit on the high side, because even with vigorous whisking not all of the powder dissolves. The fact this comes in powder form is great for all lovers of green tea; different enough from bland tea bags but easier to deal with than loose tea. Note however that this product is from China, not from Japan as you might expect. Still good enough for a cool 5* Read more

This is an awesome green tea, a little bit goes a long way. I am not exaggerating. I found out the hard way. I used a big teaspoon (at night). Needless to say, when you use too much it doesn't mix well with water, it does not dissolve! This green tea is very potent. It kept me up all night, without a jittery feeling, just energetic. This is a tea that is better if you drink it during the daytime, especially if you're caffeine sensitive and want natural energy to get you going throughout the day. The reason why I rated it three stars is that the company misrepresented its product. On the website, they're obviously showing a picture of the matcha green tea in a nicely packaged container. When I received the product it was in an aluminum looking ziplock bag. They enclosed a message in their package saying, the packaging was because they buy it in bulk, which saves them money. In return, customers can get product for the price. PLEASE DISCLOSE PERTINENT INFORMATION. It is misleading to sell something that does not look like the picture! Read more

I have gotten this particular Matcha Green Tea before and liked it very much. It came in the pictured container which made it easy to use. I then tried another brand, which I did not like as much especially because it came in a bag that made it harder to use. I then ordered this one again because of the taste AND the container. Imagine my surprise when it came in a bag. And the bag isn't even as good as the one I tried in between orders of this one. I have not yet tasted this order of Matcha, But the first time I ordered it, it was excellent. Better then the second one I ordered. I want the container AND the good taste! I am giving it a 4 because of switching of containers while taking my money and not letting me know before hand. Once I taste it I will comment on it for taste. Hopefully they didn't pull a switch on that! Read more
