This is a thinner, glowy liquid makeup. You can build a little bit wow the blend of the color with my skin is pretty incredible. Even in a humid, hot area it lasts at least 8 hours. I’m in my early 50’s. Have worn all the big names lined and worked for several. I’ve had combo skin, as I’ve aged some redness and some enlarged pores & lines with age. This goes on easy-use a beauty blender or brush to apply,but I have just thrown it on quickly with my fingers to run an errand & it looks great! Doesn’t separate or settle in lines or make my pores more noticeable. It has beautiful finish This is now the second one I have ordered & tell all my friends. I have worked in the cosmetic industry for years I live in the South & it gets so hot & humid. This really is a beautiful foundation if you want a smoothing glow which I love! I purchased this since it was recommended. The foundation is luminous and hides most imperfections. However, the color I ordered was too dark and the color I needed was out of stock and has been for some time. Just got this in and tried it out immediately. Lovely feel to it, goes on smoothly and feels and looks like skin. I nailed the color. My skin color is warm, between golden and olive tones. I ordered W7 after watching some videos and comparing photos. Loreal True Match W4 is a pretty good match for me when i wear light everyday makeup, but Sweed’s W7 is even better. Sweed’s foundation also has a richer, nicer composition than Loreal. I also have used Nars Sheer foundation in a mix of Guadeloupe and Stomboli colors to get the right match and that brand was nice too but so far liking Sweed more. I suggest using a brush like they do in the company’s videos. Using a beauty blender felt like it soaked up too much of the product and it’s too expensive to waste. I used the Saie foundation brush and it worked nicely. I can’t speak of the longevity yet, but looking forward to seeing how this lasts through the day. I also used a light dusting of Tarte’s 26 Amazonian powder with a powder brush in areas I get oilier but am interested in trying Sweed’s powder. My skin is oily and makeup tends to melt and separate on me as the day goes on. Once I see how this foundation goes, I may find the need to add Milk’s matte spray, which works nicely on me.
