First of all, the title says Fur instead of FAUX FUR. It’s deceptive. Hence, I saw these and thought that they were actual fur, since there isn’t a decent enough close-up pic of the texture of the fabric. If these were genuine fur, they would be desirable for their traditional character, or cool for their ironically ugly look. As fake fur? They are the ugliest boots you could possibly find. They shed immediately. I have already found myself regretting taking even one boot out of the plastic wrapping, after seeing how fake the fur looks. The fit for the foot seems fine, it is roomy to fit snugly over a size 8, or snugly over a size 7.5 wearing chunky knit socks underneath. Unfortunately, the band around the thigh seems a bit small. Someone like the model in the picture could still wear the boots, but you have to have very slender legs to be able to pull them all the way up. There is not exactly a sole, it’s just a thin, flat platform. Thus, these boots would be fine for indoor use (as long as you do not spend too much time near the wood stove, because I guarantee that these boots are extremely flammable); these boots are not insulated enough to wear outside in winter, nor are they comfortable enough for outdoor time. These boots are not exactly easy to use because they actually serve very little purpose. Are they better for cosplay? Are they house shoes? The quality is what you would expect from a fake fur pair of boots that uses a rubber outer sole without any kind of support for the inner sole. Also, look at the edge of the part that sits on the thigh, it looks tattered and sloppy… Disappointed with the product as well as with myself for picking a product based off of the title alone and without confirming the material in the specifications section. I gave these to my mother and she loves them! They make her look like she has the legs of a llama and they are very soft. She is a size 8 1/2 and the mediums seem to fit her just right, if her feet were any bigger I don't think they would fit. The soles are nice and thick and the inside is well cushions and comfy. Because of how long they are they are a little more effort to put on than normal shoes but they are worth the effort. She has been wearing them out in the cold weather and they have been keeping her feet and legs very warm. Everyone she sees comments on them and wants to touch them, they definitely draw eyes. Wow! These boots literally tell the truth and they go a good ways above my knee. They are very warm and fit well. They are super shaggy - the area at the bottom could use a little trimming as the hairs are a bit longer than necessary. The fur looks cheap at first glance, but the boots do look good on. It’s like wearing stuffed animals on your legs. When first putting on the Sweetheart Beauty thigh high shaggy fur boots, it was clear that the inside main part of the boots are made from either very thick cardboard or not-so-stiff interface/sizing; they bent a little. The second and third times I put them on, I was at houses where shoes must be removed. Actually, that means I’ve put them on 2x on those days. Putting the boots back on the last time I WORE them, but the 6th time I put them on, I heard a rip. Then the interface bent so much in both boots that my feet were not able to get all the way in to the bottom. Determined to wear these boots at least a couple more times, I figured I could use my boot horn to get back in and fix the interface. The boots are so tall, the boot horn wasn’t long enough! If this happens to you, push down the boot leg as far down as you can get it and flatten out the interface. NEVER pull on the boot from the top. Do it as carefully as you would pull on tights or hose. Back to the review. $99 is way too much for boots that have cheap faux fur (it’s called “fake” at this level) and zero arch support. Make sure the weather and the ground are dry before stepping out because you are wearing thick, furry socks with thick soles (but we knew that!) As of 12/31/25, they are on sale for $65 with a coupon. That should be that starting price point, and then some discounts for sales from there. I will continue to wear my boots until they fall apart. They get 2 stars because they are cute, temporary shoes that are way overpriced. Read more

These boots are so fun and funky! They would work great for costumes but they would also work great if you are in the really cold weather. They fit true to size but also feel a little bulky to walk in just because they are so fluffy. They’re a great conversation starter or way to get noticed if that’s what you’re looking for! Sometimes I like to do something totally off the wall or weird at work (I’m a teacher) so I wore these one day and got a lot of attention. The 6th graders had a hey day talking about them.
