Wow! I'm blown away by these bulbs. The CFLs I had used for about five years in both my bathrooms had slowly begun to fail, so I bought these LEDs as replacements. The CFLs were also 75W equivalents, with 1250 lumens and 3500K color. I wouldn't use them in any other room, but that bright neutral light is perfect for bathrooms. These LEDVANCE bulbs are even better. Their hard to find 3500K color is perfect. Oddly, even though they're only rated at 1100 lumens, they seem considerably brighter than the1250 CFLs they replaced. I did not rate the longevity of these bulbs, because I just installed them today immediately after receiving them. But if they only last as long as the old CFLs, I will be a happy camper. At $5.00 per bulb and free shipping, I haven't found a lower total price anywhere for bulbs of this quality. Unless you intend to install these in a dimmable fixture, trust me - you won't be disappointed in their performance. Read more

Needed to brighten up my living room and wanted a cooler (but not "blue" cool) light. Preferred a known, trusted brand and found these Sylvania bulbs in a larger pack for a better price than big-box stores could offer. Arrived intact, working well, and my room is brighter but still cozy. Read more

I like the room brightness (larger room / using 4 of them in an overhead ceiling fan light) but I find the color to be too blue - almost artificial - for use in our living room. Next time I'll go with a somewhat milder color. As they're only days old - how can I judge if they're long lasting or economical? Science says they'll last longer than the CFLs they've replaced, run cooler (helping my AC load), and use less power than I'm accustomed to. Edit: while I've now grown accustomed to their bluish color I've become less satisfied with them. Now at about the 3 year mark the last one of them has died. If they weren't so difficult to physically access I may not be so harsh - but I really expected LED bulbs to last much longer. I've now ordered a different brand. Double Edit: I did in fact order some different bulbs but they were physically too large to fit within the scalloped lamp shades - so I've reordered more of the originals. They've now been burning two days - they sure do light up the room. Note: the color now seems normal to me. Read more

These bulbs seem as bright as incandescent 75W bulbs (they are certainly much brighter than the 60W equivalent LEDs I'm replacing). Also, they don't get really hot like some LED bulbs I've come across so I have no problem putting them into enclosures that are rated "60 Watt only". A 4-pack was 15 dollars when I ordered - a bit more than I like to spend on LED bulbs, but so far I'm quite happy. Hopefully they last as long as claimed (11000 hours) - I have been disappointed with the longevity of Philips LEDs in the past. My first shipment did have one broken bulb, but Amazon handled the exchange quickly and with little hassle (I just had to take the product to a UPS store - they handled the packaging and shipping at no cost to me). These lights have a good output and nice color balance - not too warm or yellow like many others and not the other extreme of blue. I have them on constantly when home and one finally burned out after about 3 years. They have lasted longer than other LED/CFL bulbs in that fixture, so are a good deal in my book! Read more

These bulbs put out nice and even light. I got the 3500k thinking it would be good for an office. The light on the 3500k would be perfect for a kitchen area, but for a study room I would get something 2500k-3500k. This are a little too white for my taste in an office. That's my fault though, but I would definitely buy this same brand in the correct color temperature next time. Read more

Great brightness, great color, doesn't get too hot like some 100w LED bulbs do around the base and then die quickly. This is the missing step between 2700k yellow 60w equivalent bulbs you can buy everywhere. Hard to find in this configuration and still be from a known quality company. Only been using them two months so far, but no bad bulbs and no burnouts thus far. Read more

I really like these bulbs and I've ordered them multiple times because I like the light output of 75 watts. The problem is after a year or so, they get super dim so you have to replace them. Read more
