Soothing for my dry eyes

These eyedrops are actually pretty good. I have severe dry eyes, and these were one of the things that actually relieved the dryness for a while. The consistency was very soothing for my eyes. As for other reviewers who said this burned their eyes.. it could have been the preservatives. Some people are more sensitive to preservatives than others. But the thing is, according to my ophthalmologist, it's the preservatives that relieve the dry eyes. Preservative-free (PF) eye drops may not be enough for you if your dry eyes are very severe or you have, for example, meibomian gland dysfunction. The PF eye drops alone are certainly not enough for me, although I try to use PF ones more throughout the day. Just find what works for you. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa, so take in each review with a grain of salt. Now for anyone with severe dry eyes or eye problems in general.. Pro tip: castor oil. The eye drops that are most effective contain castor oil (i.e. FDA-approved rx Restasis eye drops). I just get some organic castor oil, close my eyes, rub it on my lash line, and let it seep through. Instant relief. It has also helped people with their vision and getting rid of cataracts apparently. Do with this information what you will. Read more
