This is a very high-quality swimsuit; the fabric is very thick, which, combined with the laces in the back, can really help shape the body, just like a corset would. The leg opening is pretty wide, something difficult to find, so this swimsuit is perfect for women with wider legs. The style around the bust was not my favorite in this model. While you can definitely do so much to make this swimsuit fit however you want it to fit because of the laces, I felt like the cut around the bust was a bit odd and not flattering for me (34D). For reference, I wear small bikini bottoms and large tops, so it is hard for me to find a one-piece that overall fits well, and this one did the trick. Other than that, I think the price is steep, but I have never seen such a high-quality swimsuit in the sense that it is like shapewear. The lighter sides make for a smaller waist illusion. Read more

The material for this swimsuit is really nice, comfortable, and stretchy. I don't have to worry about anything peaking through and the corset/lace up back means I can fine tune this to my exact body shape. The design also accentuates curves while hiding my belly. I ordered this swimsuit after seeing it advertised for its shaping capabilities. The internal corset-like structure does pull you in and smooth things out, which is impressive for a swimsuit. The material feels thick and durable. Provides decent coverage - I can wear while swimming with my young nieces and nephews without concern for "spilling out". It washes well on the Delicate, Cold cycle in my washing machine - no fading and still fully intact after a month of wear. However, getting it on and cinched correctly takes some effort. It's not the most comfortable suit for just lounging or active swimming because of how compressive it is. The plunging neckline is also much lower than I anticipated, and I had to adjust it frequently. While it creates a specific silhouette, the trade-off is in comfort and ease of wear. Read more

This is a very expensive suit. Is it worth it? I think that would depend on the consumer. I'm a size 6 in dresses and ordered this in a size M. I like the front of the dress - the black body and beige accents is definitely flattering and gives the illusion of an hourglass shape. I'm not a huge fan of the back as it's very "busy" with so many straps. I didn't get that huge of a slimming effect when pulling the straps together - I think it's because I have a short torso, and the suit is designed for longer torsos. Also, bear in mind, that this is a small cut. I'm a 6, and the medium was a very tight fit. Read more
