Does not tremble
This holder is perfect for the holding the screen for the rear and side view RV cameras. The screen is not quite as large as an IPad, but it is bigger than a phone. The mount allowed us to attach it to the dash with little noticeable bounce. Read more
Sturdy metal clamps and balls for a secure holder
The clamps and ball joints are solid metal. The balls have an embedded ring groove and oring to provide some tension to allow adjustment. Without the rings the joints would fall loose and be hard to align. The clamp itself is probably better for a phone but could also hold a tablet that isn't too big. My Samsung tablet is about 6 inches wide and I had to apply significant force to open the mount to accept the tablet. I will be mounting this onto a aluminum shelf that I can drill holes and attach the base with bolts and nuts. You will be challenged to find a place in your car where you might feel comfortable screwing a mount into. Read more

grip is just right, really holds onto the tablet when it counts
This mount is built super well, all the mount pieces are aluminum, they have a nice anodized finish and well refined for the end user, so rough edges or flashing, looks like the manufacturer paid close attention to all the details when they made this. I really like the use of O-rings in the design to help keep the positioning right where you set it and not drift or need retightening. The grip of the unit is not too tight to worry about damage to your tablet but its definitely strong enough to not let it go when it counts. Screw on Base. Securely Holds Both Phone and Tablet.
I use an Android tablet for navigation on my sailboat. I got a new tablet and the old tablet bracket no longer fits. This holder works great for my needs. It has a screw-on base that fits right where the old one was mounted. It holds both my Lenovo tablet and my Android phone securely in its spring loaded jaws. The articulating arm positions the tablet right where I need it even in rough seas. Read more

It holds a phone or tablet firmly enough for in your car/truck. Unfortunately, I won't be using this one because you have to drill holes to mount it. Idk where I would be ok w drilling holes in my car to mount a 20 dollar phone holder. Maybe out in the shop or something? I haven't figured it out yet I wouldn't purchase again. Read more
