I have been through a bunch of cell phone holders — suction cups that fall off the windshield or don’t stick to the dashboard, ones that slide into the CD slot and block the climate controls, magnetic with a heavy piece of metal stuck on the back of the phone, and vent mounts that block the vent and end up falling off due to the weight of the phone. I had just about given up when I came across the Tackform vent mount. It was super-easy to install and is rock solid. The arm allows the phone to be positioned just right, including where the air coming out of the vent is not blocked. The clamp is easy to use too and holds my phone securely. The mount, balls and holder are made from metal. I initially balked at the price, but after seeing and using it, I realized it’s a great value. Read more

Installed on 2022 Ford Super Duty regular cab. This phone mount is stronger than the actual truck that it is mounted on. Quality is beyond top notch. I can't comment on the instructions, I never looked at them. Assembly was so incredibly easy that I never had to. Read more

This phone mount is incredible. Every little detail is great. They even include the correct Allen wrenches for assembly and mounting. I was honestly skeptical and was not expecting this quality and sturdiness, but I was pleasantly surprised! A little pricey, but worth the extra over some of the flimsier mounts!
