Looks intimidating as packaged but easy to set up in less than 5 minutes. The device is sturdy, holding my phone securely without interfering with air vent redirection; it attaches to the lip at the edge of the vent while allowing full vent mobility. The longer arm model collapses enough to stay out of the way of the column shifter. My only concern is weakening of the dash material as the vehicle ages.
