Highly customizable for a variety of needs
This company makes several versions of this product for different purposes: pills, tools, makeup artists, tattoo artists etc. They all appear to be the exact same bag with different identifying patches on the front, which goes to show you just how versatile and customizable this product can be. This did not arrive with a medical or medicine patch as it shows in the pictures which suits me fine given I ordered it for my art school supplies. I do both ceramics and painting and I really like all the compartments and pouches for my paints, solvents and tools. Both keeping them organized and also easy to find when needing to set up quickly for a class or workshop. Likewise I imagine the same benefits apply when using this for medical purposes. One thing this does not fit comfortably for my art supplies is long handled paint brushes. And while it can fit a 9 x 12 sketchbook it does so at a stretch rather than comfortably. I currently use two bags for my art supplies, and I think this will continue even with this bag because of those larger, longer items. However this is a far better organisational system than what I was using before. I can also see using this bag as a carry on. The compartments and clear pouches would be good for toiletries and charging cables as well as medicine, headphones etc. And if you rearrange things it can fit a light change of clothes, and even a pair of shoes in the bottom area. If you remove the dividers at the top, a 13 inch laptop just fits but it’s snug. There’s quite a bit of accessory webbing externally which I personally doubt I’ll use. A lot of it is also small and tight so I’m not sure about general purpose either. I’m also not a huge fan of the exposed velcro patches on the outside. It’s not clear to me what their purpose is apart from getting caught on my sweater when I’m carrying this in winter. Are there better suited organisational bags for my art supplies without the quirky extras this bag contains? Quite possibly. However I appreciate it’s compact size, just how versatile and customisable it is, and the fact that it appears sturdy and well constructed. Plus it has three modes of carrying: Hand, shoulder and a strap for sliding over a wheelie. I hope to update further re durability with continued use. Read more
