I returned the shorts because they were too big. You recommended size 40 and I ordered 34 and they were still 1 size too big. Also the front pockets are not very deep and you'll lose most anything in them. The other pockets are zippered so that helps. The back pocket isn't deep enough to carry a phone and zip shut.
