TAGRY Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones Wireless for Travel Workout

Great purchase for about $40. Sound quality is very good for the price, surprisingly rich in sound and good (but not overwhelming) bass. Claim to have Bluetooth 6.0, I don't know how to confirm, but i don't doubt the claim. Fit is good, though a little stiff. I'm not sure about all-day comfort, but comfortable enough for a couple hour workout session. Control buttons are well placed. Noise cancelation (ANC) has three modes, on, transparency, and off. The noise cancelation (on) is very good (very quiet), transparency electronically pipes in outside (ambient) sounds, off is just that, but these headphones are so well sealed, that they provide passive noise reduction even when off (just by the well-fitting earcup insulation). So, the transparency setting is useful if I need/want to be aware of what's going on around me. A voice tells me which ANC mode is activated (or off). I can listen to BT transmitted music in all three modes, even with ANC off. The headphones also have a 3.5 mm input jack, which I have not tried. I also haven't tried them for phone quality (not why I bought them), I'll update this review once I try that feature out. Comparing the sound to an OLD (2016) pair of Bose QC35 headphones (Bluetooth 4.1), the QC35's have a distinctly better, more balanced sound, but they also cost nearly $350 when they came out some 10 years ago. (I never tried them with phone calls, either!) For $40, these are not all that far off in sound quality, and have better features (including a significantly updated BT version)! Also, the (old) QC 35's require use of ANC while using BT, there's no way to turn it off and still use BT. Sometimes this has been a problem, so theses newer headphones are functionally much better, and have the latest BT version (6.0), and still sound very good by comparison, if not quite top-tier. As I said, they are surprisingly good for the money. I bought these to wear to the gym, there's a lot of background pounding noises from basketball and pickle ball courts, and want to protect my hearing from all the ambient pounding and shouting noise, while listening to music at lower levels for several hours while working out. Again, for $40, I think these will fit my needs nicely, and I can use transparency mode (or ANC off) if I want more ambient sound to come through, especially when walking around. Since I'll be using these in the gym, and sweating into them, I expect they will get soiled rather quickly. I contacted TAGRY about trying to buy replacement earpads and they replied none were (or will be) available. Made in China, likely will not be available for long, but I'm impressed and happy (so far) with my purchase and may buy another pair for backup, rather than splurge on something more high-end for little added value. So, these are pretty much disposable, for my purposes. As to cost, as mentioned, I bought these for less than $40. The next day, they went up to $179 on Amazon, and the price has been fluctuating WILDLY since. For $40, these are a steal, At $179, I think there are likely better options. As of this writing, I'm seeing them for just under $40, again. Get 'em while they're hot and inexpensive! I'm VERY happy with my purchase and recommend them highly due to very good sound, GREAT value and great functionality. I was hesitant about these for the gym. But WOW to my suprise this was the best $40 I ever spent for GYM stuff! Been using them for about 3 Weeks. Great job resisting sweat, They stay on my head tight. They sound AMAZING. Quality seems pretty durable. Super comfortable, easy connection to bluetooth devices, work great for phone calls. But most of all the ANC mode works almost Flawless in Planet Fitness which is Loud. When its listingin to podcast or so you can hear a little bit in the gym but Music you HEAR NOTHING. Sound quality was everything I could hope for deep bass crisp highs I used them 2 weeks straight i took care of them they were my babies noise cancelation was high quality even the microphone on call canceled out shop noise my wife could hear me so clearly so why did I give them 2 stars after 2 weeks I charged them they would not turn on at all I contacted Amazon they were like we got you we will help they linked me in with seller stating we would get you a replacement free of charge seller said sense I bought them threw Amazon you half to deal with Amazon I simply said ok I dont like no have tolerance for the run around so I took an 80 dollar loss just to avoid a stressful exchange just to see them on sale the following week for 39 buck I wonder why if they would of keep working I would've gave it 10 stars battery must of been defective super displeased with it watch them post under this did u get the protection plan so answer is no I did not but did u put your companies quality assurance stamp on this product before you sold it yes you did was quality assured no it was not Read more

Pros: The headphones are comfortable The battery lasts long Easy to connect to multiple device Easy to setup the 2 device connection simultaneously Cons: Very little bass No EQ custom settings No memory of the last ANC setting (when you turn them on it defaults to ANC off no matter what) For $70, I expected more. very comfortable I wear then about 6-7 hours a day at work and nothing is 100% noise cancelling but they do a great job of blocking out my co-workers around me, i actually get more work done now since the co-workers' distractions is now removed. Have not used them for music that much yet but when i did it had really good surround sound. I have used them a few times to answer phone calls and no one on the other end has issues hearing me. But then with the noise cancellation on i may be speaking louder as well. Read more
