I love when sellers read critical reviews and try to make it right so I gave an extra star for that. I still think the product deserves 3 stars because it's a delicate plastic material and because there is hardly any ventilation for your breath, which makes the eyes fog up after a very short period wearing the mask. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a pretty cool mask, looks just like the picture, but it's made of that thin, brittle plastic that's lightweight, so is easily broken. Mine arrived with a large-ish crack along the side. It wasn't packaged with any "filler" in the box, so maybe that explains it. Now, about the noisy lights: when the lights are on, the connections in the wiring emit a high-pitched noise. Fit my oversized head when adjusted to largest size. I was able to wear it with my glasses on. The blue panels on the eyes didn't block a lot of light when I took it into a dark room and compared with and without the mask. Battery box makes a low volume tone whenever the light is on. It was especially audible to me when holding the box the up to ear. In the strobe modes I could clearly hear the tone when the lights switched on and then it would stop when they were off. It is very faint but noticeable. It is shipped in a plastic bag. Mask is not fragile but it's rigid plastic and only going to take so much. The first one I got was mixed in with a bunch of other things and arrived broken. Replacement was shipped by itself in a padded bag and arrived intact. Seller should really put it in a box. Mouth part has a cut out for air. I will probably cut out the nose holes as well since there was a small amount of condensation when breathing in it. This was in an air conditioned environment. May be worse in a colder outside environment. There is no strain relief or anything really protecting where the wire comes out of the mask and hangs. This 90 degree bend point looks like a place where the wiring will break. This point is also stressed by the fact the battery box hangs from it. I plan on gluing the wire down better to move the strain past this this point to the more flexible wire to help it last longer. Overall it's a good product for the price point. Read more
