This review is more of a public service announcement than anything. I really wanted to love this — and in some ways, I did. This mask noticeably improved my skin’s tone and texture. I saw results within weeks that I hadn’t gotten from years of products. Unfortunately, it came with a side effect that completely blindsided me. After regular use (4-5 times a week), I started developing extremely severe, daily headaches that lasted for four straight months. I changed everything — diet, hydration, screen time, posture, stopped all supplements — and spent thousands at doctors and chiropractors trying to figure it out. Nothing helped. Finally, out of pure desperation, I stopped using this mask even though everything I researched stated red light therapy actually helped migraines and sinuses — within a week or two, the headaches stopped. Just like that. I’ve since learned that red light therapy can overstimulate cranial nerves and sensitive brain regions, especially when used near the forehead and eyes — even if you wear eye protection. But no warning about this was given, and from what I can tell, this isn’t mentioned in the product materials. Not just for this mask but for them all. If you’re prone to migraines, light sensitivity, or unexplained tension headaches, be extremely cautious. This device may work wonders for your skin, but it came at a high cost for me. I’m not saying it’s unsafe for everyone — but people deserve to know this is a real risk. Again, amazing results and a great product but if you come down with weird headaches that you can’t figure out, I would discontinue use. This red light mask works very well. It's easy to use and the battery lasts through about six 10-minute sessions. I'm not certain I'm seeing an improvement in my skin yet, but a period of consistent use is needed for easily visible changes. Besides, gradual skin changes are harder to notice when one sees their face every day. I do recommend that you get the mask made out of black materials as far less red light reaches the eyes. The mask light works ok for improving skin but the mask overall is a very bad design. This mask is extremely painful to wear because it has a massive hook and loop fastener on the back which horribly tangles the hair. I can not stress this enough how this mask will tangle and rip CHUNKS of hair out of the back of your head. This mask would be better if it literally had NO straps! Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Read more
