Taos Double U Premium Leather Womens Sandal - Stylish Adjustable Strap Design with Arch Support Cooling Gel Padding

I love Taos shoes, so these were a no brainer for me. While I usually need to go up half a size to an 8.5 in their sneakers, the size 8 sandals fit fine. (Good thing, since they don't come in half sizes.) The footbeds are covered in a soft suede-like material, and after almost 3 weeks of frequent wear still look brand new. I even got caught in a small rainstorm and the footbed coverings have remained soft and flexible-- no stiffness or staining. I wear a lot of Taos (often bought second hand) because they offer EXCELLENT arch support. That's true of the sandals too. Unlike the sneakers, the footbeds can't be replaced, which is the only regret I have. They're expensive, but if you get tired achy feet, they are worth it. (And if you find the arch hits at a weird place, try going up 1/2 size.) I love the adjustable velcro tabs. I have a high arch but narrow feet, so I usually need the toe strap to be rather tight and the mid-arch strap to be looser; adjustable sandals are essential for me. I can walk in these comfortably without any flip-flop slapping-- they stay snug to the bottoms of my feet. I've been incorporating more silvery tones into my wardrobe after having a "color analysis" done-- and the subtle luster of the pewter color is just right. I have Birkenstocks and they seem to look rather worn so I decided to try Taos and I’m wish I had done earlier. These slip in’s are very comfortable and easily adjustable to your width. I’m planning on walking a lot on my vacation and these are perfect for stability, lightweight, and they go with many different types of pants or shorts. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These are wonderful shoes! Adjustable with two flaps so they can fit almost any food width. The sole is perfect for my foot - I have a moderately high arch and I prefer a flat heel. The suede is comfortable even in very hot weather. My ONE COMPLAINT this pewter color is applied to the surface of the leather and can wear off overtime. I wear my shoes a long time so maybe it wouldn’t bother someone else but it is noticeable.
