I don’t totally get the hype around Tatcha The Serum Stick. The value is okay- the stick format does seem like it will last a while, which helps justify the price a bit. It does hydrate, but on my skin it left more of a shiny, slightly greasy finish rather than absorbing in. I kept wondering if that was intentional, because it didn’t really sink in for me. It feels nice to use and definitely has that luxury skincare experience going for it. The ingredients are solid, and it glides on smoothly, especially around dry areas and fine lines. That said, I didn’t see much actual improvement in my skin with use- no noticeable smoothing or brightening beyond temporary moisture. Overall, pleasant but not effective enough for me to repurchase.
