This is a very nice, heavy and thick coat for the price. It has helped me this Winter to battle the extreme cold. The inside of the coat is very soft. My only issue with this coat is that the velcro clasps to the wrists are designed poorly. The straps are not even long enough. The velcro is not strong enough. I've learned just to let it be. Just loved it and went straight to the slopes...wish it had some ventilation zippers slots on the sides and underarms cause it was way to warm the first day (45-50 degrees) but perfect for 28-32 degrees(windchill 9-15 degrees) that next 2 days. Maybe add a clip to attach your gloves would've been nice but all and all for the price, I just love the jacket and would highly recommend expecially if you live in warm area like we do and only ski maybe once every 2-5yrs Read more

The first thing that a person will notice about this men’s winter ski jacket is that it is sleek and stylish. The jacket has an attractive black sheen with small carefully placed yellow graphics. The jacket is practical to wear as it is waterproof protecting the wearer against both snow and rain. The fact that the hood is removable allows the wearer to use the jacket in late spring or early fall without looking like the person is wearing a winter coat. So, this makes the jacket more usable for a longer period of time. The jacket’s sleeves are cuffed which should prevent snow or rain from creeping in. The jacket has three zippered pockets. This is a great feature that effectively prevents lost cell phones or keys in the event of a fall. The jacket is insulated to provide warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. The interior lining is soft against the skin. The insulation is effective at both keeping out the cold and still allowing a full range of motion. Not only is the insulation effective, it is also a beautiful soft gray. The designer of this jacket made a brilliant design decision to use the same type of insulation on the inside of the jacket and the inside of the hood. This makes this reasonably priced jacket look more expensive. The only caution is the jacket comes vacuum wrapped in a tight plastic bag. It quickly resumes its normal volume when removed from the bag. But the jacket does have a slight odor that commonly occurs when goods are sent from overseas in shipping containers. Hanging the jacket outside or in an isolated area for a few hours allows the smell to quickly dissipate. Read more
