I bought this to use with my ASUS Rog Ally. I was pleasantly surprised that the value exceeded the cost for me. As a child of the 80s I grew up with the old beige mechanical keyboards. I was never a fan of the membrane style. This of course will have an influence on my review. The keyboard is wired and comes with a USB C to USB C cord. There is always the chance that in the future the C port on the keyboard might become loose or damaged through travel or consistent portable use. For the time being, however, the connection is clean and tight. The keys are removable and customizable, not really for me but may be a selling point for others. I am glad the keys come off for easier air cleaning should a rogue child be eating crumbly food while using the keyboard.. As with a great many things branded for gamers, gaming, and computers in general, there is RGB lighting. While this has never been a draw to me, the lighting here works properly. It is not too bright or too dim on its initial preset. The button combos to change the lighting are easy enough and unlike other larger keyboards I have for my pcs, the lighting isn’t so overly obtrusive that I feel I must turn it off for my visual sanity. I have found no issues in casual or aggressive typing, connecting to any electronic that can use a keyboard, or any lagging in game input that was attributed to the keyboard and not the computer/system or online connection. The only reason why there is a 4/5 and not higher is I can’t give fraction stars and I am sure there may be something not right with it as nothing is perfect. Read more

UPDATE: It's still a great keyboard, but the price has gone way up. At $19.99 it was a bargain. For $36 it's not, so shop around. ORIGINAL: This is a damn nice keyboard! It feels great, it isn't cheaply made, and it's by far the best keyboard you will find for the $. I've spent 2-3 time as much on keyboards that were not as nice. Works well with Mac. The tactile feel of the mechanical keys fits my taste perfectly. It's not a hard click, but has a nice firm action to it. It's got some weight to it (not an empty plastic shell like other keyboards in the price range). I am not a gamer, so I just set the lights to pure white, on all the time. AND - I LOVE having a volume control knob instead of a set of function keys to raise or lower the volume. Just buy it. For $20 you can't beat it. Read more
