The media could not be loaded. Lights arrived quickly. Very easy to install with adhesive strips and screws. We have them set from dawn to dusk. They are dim but brighten with movement so they are motion activated to get brighter. We have had them up for 2 months. They worked during a snow & ice storm as well as wind and rain so far. Very pleased with them and plan to buy more! Read more

We live in the country where there are no street lights and the dark at night is so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. I began my quest for outdoor lighting after coming home after dark when I almost passed up my house because I couldn't see it. I tried a couple of different solar lights designed for wall mounting to install on 3 sides of my house; the front, one side, and in back over our back deck. In trying the different lights of this type, I learned more about what to look for in outdoor solar lighting. I chose to keep these lights for the following reasons. 1) These lights have 416 LED lights and a 300 degree angle of lighting. Other lights I tries had a comparable number of LED lights, but the size of the LED's was smaller, hence less light. In addition, others I tried had a 180 degree angle of lighting, so the lighting is primary straight forward. This light has LED's on the sides of the fixture which covers a wider angle of lighting. 2) This solar light has 3 modes of lighting which is consistent with other brands, i.e. 1) continuous medium-light (50%) for all-night illumination, 2) dim (30%)-to-bright (100%) light transition when motion is sensed, and 3) sensor motion mode for no light when no motion and 100% light when motion is sensed. The mode selected depends on the lighting needed for the areas installed. I chose option 2 for the front of the house since I wanted the house to be visible from the road at night and have brighter lighting when I got to the front of the house. For the side and back of the house, I used option 3. This save power when we are not in the area, and provides full lighting when we need it. 3) I believe these lights are a great value for the money since they are solar powered and don't add to our electricity bill or need electric power installed. They do require some hours of direct sunlight to be powered which is a consideration in placement. Since we don't get as much sunlight in the winter, mode to be used should be considered to conserve energy. 4) The build quality of these lights comparable or better than other lights we tried. We have a couple of solar lights we purchased well over 10 years ago. So, I hope these lights last as long. As yet, I can't attest to the lifespan of these lights. I will update this review if my opinion changes, but I would recommend these lights at this time. I hope this review was helpful for you. I hope this review was helpful for you. Read more

These exceeded my expectations. These have three modes. The 1st mode has them light up at the lowest setting after dark, then get bright when motion is detected. The second mode lights up at the medium setting when it gets dark. The third mode is best also during winter time when solar charging isn't optimal. This setting keeps them off until dark, then get bright when motion is detected. This last setting works great for me, as I just have them near my trash cans so I can see them when dealing with rubbish after dark. Read more

Nice looking, good instructions, motion detection works, bright light is bright. I would have gone 5 stars but the instructions say the light will remain on for 15-27 seconds but none of mine stay on more that 10. If you're using them to illuminate a walkway - walk fast! There is a stay on all night option, but that is not what I wanted. Read more

Installed about 2 weeks ago. Although these lights do not have the ability to be charged via USB before initial use to ensure starting with a full charge like another brand I had they have worked flawlessly from the beginning. I selected the low light setting which triggers to high when movement is detected. The first two days they stayed on from dusk to dawn. The next 2 days they stayed on from dusk until about 3 AM. Mind you this is with sunny days. I should note that I have them mounted on the back of my house over the patio. This area only gets sun exposure for about 4 hours per day. Even with overcast days they will have enough power to stay on from dusk until about 2 AM. Based on my brief time using them they seem to perform well especially for the price. The brightness on the low setting (which allows them to remain on until dawn) is perfect for me. When they are triggered by movement the bright setting is excellent and lights up a good portion of my immediate backyard (approximately 30' x50'). Read more

Lights are bright and works perfectly. Softly lighting the path until they detect motion and then a very bright light as people walk through it. Because of the two-phased lighting, they last a long time, even during the darker winter months. Read more

Not really water tight. Have an LED failure due to moisture incursion at about the 6 month mark. The sensor option works great and the LEDs are really bright, but the ad said waterproof and this isn't the case. I think the lifespan will be reduced significantly. Too bad, I really had high hopes for these lights. Read more
