This is a review of "Teeth Whitening Powder, Removes Stains Enamel-Safe Whitening Powder, Tooth Stain Removal Toothpaste, Mint Flavor Teeth Whitener" The powder leaked inside the carton a bit, but thankfully the whole package was sealed in sufficient plastic wrap. I actually really enjoy brushing with this tooth powder. It makes a satisfying foam, and leaves my teeth feeling smooth and my mouth feeling fresh and minty. I haven't felt any sensitivity so far during or after brushing with it, and I have had sensitivity issues in the past. I don't plan on using this every day, as I know whitening toothpastes - - especially powders - - can prematurely wear away the enamel. But just from the few weeks I've been using it at roughly every other day, I haven't felt any discomfort or bad side effects from it. The packaging says to use this along with your regular toothpaste (I guess either use both simultaneously or use the powder after brushing with your regular toothpaste). Although, the second ingredient listed is xylitol, which is known to help prevent cavities, so frankly, I wouldn't have qualms about using this as my main toothpaste, as long as I switched to a non-whitening formula when I've finished the supply, to give my enamel a break. I can't say for certain that there's been a noticeable change in the whiteness of my teeth, but I *feel* like they're a little brighter. The brand of this product wasn't familiar to me, so I'm always a little leery trying products I don't know much about, especially when it's something I'm using on or in my body. I honestly can't speak on the effectiveness of this product since I was only able to use it for a week before I started to get sensitive, bleeding gums. Also, when I brush with this, I sometimes end up inhaling the powder and it cause major irritation to my throat. Sorry but no thanks. On a side note, the way you apply this to your toothbrush is very awkward. You have to sprinkle it on through a hole and I always end up spilling a lot onto my sink. There is a spinning wheel that gives you 2 options: one with several small perforated holes and second is just an open hole. I tried using the small, perforated holes but I don't get enough on my toothbrush, so I end up shaking vigorously, which then spills a lot. Also, this wheel cover does not spin very well and it sometimes ends up falling off entirely while I'm sprinkling, getting powder everywhere on my sink. It's still early days to tell whether this will work or not but so far my thoughts are positive. Initially, I was a little put off by the fact that you have to repeatedly dip a toothbrush in the powder but the way it's set up isn't so bad. So the container is designed to allow some powder to escape the tub through a hole in the inside cover into a smaller area at the top of the container. Then after brushing your teeth as usual, you dip your brush into the small amount that is now available in the top part of the container. There really isn't any flavor to it, at least not that I noticed but it does foam up well so which gives me a sense that it may be working, just slowly. You are supposed to brush with it for 3 minutes which seems like a long time and actually my electric toothbrush turns off automatically at 2 minutes. I will say that my teeth feel very clean and smooth after using it. Possibly a bit more so than just brushing with my regular toothpaste. Read more

This purple brightening tooth powder is a fantastic addition to your brushing routine. I have seen a noticeable difference to the shade of my teeth. I cannot use any chemical based whitening kits as I have periodontal issues and I stay away from them. This tooth powder is mild and works for me! I use after I brush for around another 2-3 minutes.
