Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product does take some getting use to, I have to admit. I am not use to this type of flavor. The paste is somewhat thick and slimy compared to other tooth paste. It might be a hit in countries where cardamon is a beloved spice. It has both a minty and strong cardamom essense. If you can handle the aftertaste and super sweet taste from stevia and xylitol it is a good product. My mouth definitely felt clean and smelling fresh after brushing. The natural ingredients include plant extracts/oils which are a bonus if you are looking for natural alternatives to toothpastes that use chemicals. I only wish it stated how much Hydroxyapatite it contains as the active ingredient. Probably best to have that information in order to gauge how effective this product is. Years ago, I used to get Hydroxyapatite toothpaste from my dentist, who had exactly one source for it. Then it quit being available, but it had become an essential part of my dental routine since it offered a pretty finish to my newly-super-scrubbed teeth and left a smooth finish that seemed to resist food sticking. I was very happy to find this two-pack of natural Hydroxyapatite toothpaste. I use it in the same way I did years ago - as a "second brushing" after using a stronger cleaning toothpaste, although you can use it as you prefer. This works as well as my old brand in offering a super-smooth tooth surface, which helps keep things from sticking around too long after you've eaten. That helps keep your breath much fresher, too! Tastes pleasant and minty - better, actually, than the brand I used years ago. The current price for two tubes of this toothpaste is what I paid for a much smaller single tube of my old brand back in 2015 or so, so it's definitely a very good value for the money! For me, if I used this after the "deep clean" and bleaching, it makes my teeth feel so much less sensitive. We've all had that bleaching experience where we want whiter teeth now and end up with teeth so sensitive it hurts to smile in a slight breeze! Seems reasonably priced. I like the ingredients avoid some things I'm not a fan of putting in my body. It is somewhat subdued in the way it cleans your mouth, which is an adjustment. Not overly heavy on bubbles like other toothpaste I've used. My mouth didn't feel fresh after using it, which I'm used to with other products. I didn't see any immediate whitening impact, but I also don't use it often since I prefer having that fresh feeling after brushing. I try to use nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste as much as possible, and this reportedly contains it. That's not my main issue with this toothpaste though. This toothpaste is actually pretty horrible tasting. It has a very strong herbal taste, not mint but other herbs and I find it to be really off-putting. Reminds me of Indian food, and not in a good way. The next thing I didn't like, was the particle size of the grit that is in it. It is a lot like brushing your teeth with coarse sand mixed with chutney. I'd have to say out of all of the different brands of nHA toothpastes I've tested, this was easily my least favorite. Green cardamom is the herb most dominant in this toothpaste, and it tastes like perfume. And with the large particle grit in the paste, I have serious doubts about it containing NANO hydroxyapatite. I was pretty surprised by the taste of this toothpaste. It tastes like cardamom with some chemical/minty aftertaste. Unfortunately it also tastes super sweet to me probably due to the stevia and xylitol in it but other people might like that. The taste is very strong so the mouth feels actually refreshed after brushing. It has a lot of natural ingredients which are plant extracts or oils. Unfortunately, it doesn't state how much Hydroxyapatite it contains which is the active ingredient and it would be great to have that information in order to gauge how effective this product is. Shame on me, but I've not had a cleaning in maybe 4+ years. I drink lots of tea, coffee and sometimes smoke. I noticed recently that my teeth were really getting darker. I'm not familiar with the ingredients this paste contains. I do know I like the taste, the mouth-feel, and while I was not expecting much whitening, this paste has literally made my teeth the whitest they've been since my last cleaning in just a few weeks. Totally surprised me as I just happened to notice the difference a few days ago. I've never had results like this from other name brand pastes. So color me impressed! I use an oral B io 3 brush, and will continue to use a fluoride paste every 2nd or 3rd brushing. But I couldn't be happier with these results!
