I ordered this “Teeth Whitening Powder, Toothpaste Whitening Booster Powder” by ZIXBMHYJ to try a second approach. The instructions say to brush your teeth as usual and then follow up with a second brushing using the powder. The bright purple color is meant to provide color correction, similar to how color-correcting makeup works. The powder is very fine and light, which makes it hard to sprinkle onto a wet toothbrush. I often end up dropping more into the sink than I get on the brush. That said, it rinses away cleanly and doesn’t stain the sink. It foams up nicely, so even a small amount creates a good lather. The powder doesn't taste bad, quite pleasant really. My wife and I used it for a couple weeks. I noticed a little difference, but not much. I noticed it more for me than my wife because I smoke. It may be that the instructions say to brush your teeth as you normally would, then use this powder for another three minutes of brushing, so honestly, it could just be the added brushing that helped. I'd say it was average not the whitening, definitely wasn't overnight improvement or anything. I also didn't care for the lid design (another reviewer pointed it out). It is hard to dip your wet toothbrush in the powder when the lid has small holes in it to pour it out. The lid can be removed, but it isn't meant to be removed easily so it's clumsy and hard to do. Also, the container itself if made of thick paper which doesn't do well in the wet/moist environment of a bathroom sink. A plastic container would be better. I have used many of these toothpaste powders, especially when traveling. This one is slightly abravsive, tastes minty, and is purple. I typically wet my toothbrush and then place it in the powder. Make sure you tightly put the cap back on because this powder will make a mess should you bump it, sneeze, use your blow dryer, etc. I think it makes my teeth feel clean and shiny. After rinsing with water to remove the purple, I make sure also to rinse the sink well. At just under 13 dollars this is about the price I would expect to pay.
