I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that our older powerbanks don't charge our newer iPhones with USB-C connections. I'm in the process of replacing the old external batteries with new ones like this. So far so good. This power bank holds a solid charge — I usually get 2½ to 3 full phone charges out of it — and when I plug in with a cord it charges quickly and reliably. The wireless feature does work, but only if the phone is positioned exactly right and then left completely still. That seems to be the case with many wireless chargers in general, not just this one, but it’s worth noting if you plan to use it on the go. Overall a good backup battery if you’re willing to use a cable most of the time. I like it. Says it's returned often but I don't understand why. It works well for me. Read more

I bought this portable battery charger in September 2025, when I was boarding an airplane in China in October, it was confiscated, because it was deemed not up to China’s new safety standards punished in June 2025. According to the new regulation, all new battery chargers sold in China have to be “3C” certified, while the one I bought is not. I don’t know why this manufacturer, which I believe is based in China, selling a product that’s banned in China to international market. If the product is not safe for Chinese airlines, could it be safe for overseas airlines? I think the seller is irresponsible and misleading the customers. Read more
Only 3 stars. I like that it has a kickstand and it charges fine, even with my phone case on. But the downside is it's heavy and the magnet is weak. Will not stick to my phone with or without the case. Read more
