I own two of these now. I purchased them for two hallway duplex outlets that needed more sockets. Usually two sockets is enough but the occasional vacuum cleaner, Christmas tree lights, and LED nightlights require more outlets. The construction seems sturdy. That would be us. When you have no ceiling lights and lots of things to plug in, you need more outlets. My electrician suggested these when he found it would be really hard to install new receptacles; we looked them up on the spot and I had them ordered before he left. They do not disappoint. Sturdy, not wiggly, hold four cords where I used to only have room for two (yay, Alexa, a radio AND a light over the sewing machine!). Very helpful around the house where there are only one or two receptacles in a bedroom, too. Just plug ‘em in, done, no tools needed.
