I’m really happy with this sheet set. The fabric feels soft and smooth, and the sateen weave gives it a nice silky feel. It has a clean, hotel-style look once it’s on the bed. I had bought the 1000-count as a separate pillowcase at one point in the past and liked it so much that when it came to ordering a set for our guest room, it was a no-brainer to order the even better ones. They take a few washes to get soft, but they do feel really nice! The biggest downside is that there is only 6 inches that hang over the sides of the bed, so you can't tuck it in; meanwhile, there's two feet of fabric at the bottom that need to be tucked in. They need to take a few inches off the length and add it to the width of these to make them great. Depending on how these were, I was going to buy a set for our main bedroom, but I don't think that will happen due to their small width. Read more

Texas Linen Co. 100% Egyptian Cotton Pillow Cases Standard/Queen Size Set of 2 - Luxury 1500 Thread Count Sateen Dark Grey Pillow Cases. My real rating would be 3.5 stars. My biggest complaint is that when they arrived they had a very smooth, almost silky feel and sheen to them, but once they were washed one time that is completely gone, and they are actually not really that soft now. I also didn't notice and don't really care for the pocket style of the case, rather than just having the cosmetic seem/stitching go all the way around the case opening. That said, they are thick, as you would expect for 1500 count stuff. The size seemed fine for queen cases. I think they'll last for a good while, but it seems they will take many washes/dries before they are actually soft again. Would I buy them again?...Maybe, but I'd be inclined to check out and try some others first. Read more
