I had surgery to fix complete fractures of both the ulna and radius. It was a spiral fracture up the legnth of the bones one inch from the wrist joint so the surgery was very precarious. It left me with a very pronounced DURJ that make people cringe when they see it. As you can imagine after 20 years of golf and guitar ect on that joint. I started having some pain due to the ECU tendon making contacting and getting snagged on I presume the hardware. After it violently unchanged itself one day. I was in a great deal of pain and looking for a remedy when I ran across this wrist strap. I had very little expectations given the extent of the injury and surgery. This thing outperformed my expectation ten fold. Not only does my wrist feel more stable than it has in years. I am able to swing a golf club pain free. The rubber ring around the DURJ actually even very lightly massages the joint, I guess due to the pronunciation of it, as I move and pivot around my wrist. I am pretty much for the first time on 20 years just about completely pain free in that wrist. Granted its only been a week but I see no reason things would change. Amazing product. The main issue i had was ultimately the issue with the velcro holding. It may have been a sizing issue, but it just seemed like in order to have it tight, id only bw able to get a 1/4 inch of fabric to velcro together. When I wear with gloves, it holds well, and has great support, fits well, lightweight, easy to use and not something huge id have to wear. Really my only problem is having it connected snug and stay that way. Read more
I wanted to like this brace but it didnt stay in place on my wrist. To be fair I have run into the same issues with every widget style I’ve tried. I have small / boney wrists, as well as positive ulnar variance - it would have been nice to have a smaller size option. Maybe someone with bigger wrists will have better luck with this one. I like this one because it’s one piece and it does not dig into your wrist like some of the others I have purchased. It is also easy to adjust in different locations on your pain. Read more
Light weight, it was comfortable but didn't get that support I needed on my wrist. The Velcro would come off suddenly. Read more
