never buying other brand or form of tooth paste

SandraDecember 29, 2025

These toothpaste tablets are extremely efficient and absolutely perfect for travel. They’re lightweight, mess-free, and don’t count as liquids, which makes them ideal for carry-ons and trips of any kind. Just bite, chew, and brush simple and effective. One of the biggest pros is that they are zero waste and plastic-free, which makes me feel good about using them every day. They’re also made with non-toxic ingredients, so I feel safe knowing I’m not putting anything harmful in my mouth or into the environment. The mint flavor is fresh without being overpowering, and my teeth feel just as clean (if not cleaner) than with regular toothpaste. Honestly, these are better than many traditional toothpastes I’ve tried. They’re more convenient, more eco-friendly, and just as effective. Great for travel and everyday use highly recommend for anyone looking to reduce waste and still keep excellent oral hygiene. Read more

Ditch The Tube & Go Tablet [Good for your teeth. Good for the planet]

𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 Plastic-free, water-free, easy to chew, taste good, foams up nicely, cleans my teeth well, and leaves me with a nice, minty mouth. The downside - they are about twice the price per use as traditional toothpaste and are made in China. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘆 I've been using tube toothpaste as long as I've had teeth to care for. That's something like 45 years or about 33,000 brushings. Does this make me an expert in toothpaste? Not really. It does, however, make me a reliable source of anecdotal toothpaste knowledge. About a year ago, I began to consider the move away from the tube to toothpaste tablets. I don’t know why it took me so long. Laziness? Fear of the unknown? Worried about what my friends would think? OK, that last one can't be true. I don't have any friends. Anway, better late than never, I guess. The tablets mark the official time I decided to finally pull the trigger. And I will never go back. My decision to switch to toothpaste tablets is mainly driven by my desire to eliminate as much single-use plastic from my life as possible. Secondary to this, the toothpaste tablets must perform – taste, foaminess, cleaning ability, etc. I’ll make some performance concessions for Mother Earth regarding my toothpaste, but I have limits. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 0% ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ - Traditional toothpaste is loaded with water, up to 40% for some brands. Shipping water is expensive and lowering water use is generally good for the planet. Toothpaste tablets contain zero water. They are activated by your own mouth juices. ᴘʟᴀꜱᴛɪᴄ-ꜰʀᴇᴇ - This is a no-brainer for me. Toothpaste tubes are made of plastic. No matter what spin the toothpaste companies put on them, they are not recycled. These tablets are packaged in a paper tube and use no plastic. None. The paper tubes, like oversized lip balm tubes, are a delight. I love how they look, how they feel, and how they look in my medicine cabinet. And that satisfying little pop when you slide the top off. ɴᴏ ᴡᴀꜱᴛᴇ - When you're done with these toothpaste tablets, there's nothing to throw away. You toss the paper tube in your recycling bin, and you're done. The tube is paper, so it may even be compostable. They aren't BPI certified though, so don't quote me on that last bit. ᴇxᴄᴇʟʟᴇɴᴛ ᴘᴇʀꜰᴏʀᴍᴀɴᴄᴇ - What good is a toothpaste if it doesn't work? These tablets work very well, and the brushing experience is quite good. They were easy to chew up, foamed nicely when brushing, and had a pleasant minty flavor with a touch of sweetness. They also rinsed cleanly and completely. ꜰʟᴜᴏʀɪᴅᴇ - I've used fluoride toothpaste and have been drinking fluoridated water for almost 50 years. The preponderance of evidence backs it up. Fluoride in toothpaste is a good thing. Added protection against cavities and all that. And the supposed risks? Bah. Alarmism. But, if you're concerned about fluoride ruining your life, they do offer a fluoride-free option. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁-𝗦𝗼-𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 ᴄʜɪɴᴀ- This offsets a big portion of the environmentally friendly nature of these toothpaste tablets. The Humble Co. is based in Sweden, these are made in the PRC, and then shipped to a US distribution center before being shipped to me. I'm tired of everything I buy coming from China. Everything made in China isn't crap, just that enough is enough. ꜰʟᴀᴠᴏʀ- These taste pretty good. I just want more of a minty punch from my toothpaste. Amp up the mint, Humble. Don't be shy. ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ- Don't switch to toothpaste tablets to save money. I can purchase (2) 5.6oz tubes of my favorite traditional toothpaste for about $8.60. A (3) pack of these tablets, that's (180) brushes, was $24, or $8/container. My wife and I can get about (30-40) days out of a 5.6 oz traditional tube - $4.30/month/person. (1) $8 tube of tablets will last a single person 30 days. 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗨𝗽 Toothpaste tablets are the way to go. All humans should switch to them. It's better for the planet in every way that matters. Unfortunately, like most Earth-friendly products, Humble toothpaste tablets are more expensive than their traditional counterparts. Plus, they're made in China. Read more

Best in class!

EFMNovember 8, 2025

I've used other toothpaste tablets and these are the best on many levels - flavor, foam, packaging, price. I hope they never stop making it, I'm sold for life. Toothpaste tablets are perfect for traveling, never have to worry about running out or packing a backup when the tube is running low and you're going on a 5 day trip. I'm looking into other products by The Humble Co., they are values-aligned with me and this product is excellent. Read more

Takes forever to arrive

Hannah JeanJuly 28, 2025

I do like these toothpaste tablets- they work well and I like the cardboard tubes they come in- they are easy to travel with and a good size. However, it took almost two months for them to arrive! This especially frustrating as I had to wait and go without tablets for a short amount of time while waiting for them, and ended up ordering a different brand (and using them up completely before even getting this order!) Good product, needs accurate shipping estimation so I can plan accordingly. The second time I ordered them they took almost a month again. Read more

One of the better toothpaste tablets

ShawnaFebruary 21, 2025

I will start by saying I work in the dental profession and have been trying many different fluoride and nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste tablets to be able to make solid recommendations to patients. This is the best fluoride containing toothpaste tablet I’ve tried. I have tried the Unpaste brand and did not like the after taste of those. These tablets are a little firmer to bite and get started than others, but not bad. Once they break it’s pretty easy. The aftertaste of these is decent. Not soapy or tasting like baking soda. . My teeth feel clean. It doesn’t foam up a lot, but for me it’s the right amount of foam. It is mint flavored, but I wish they were just a tiny bit mintier. But now I’m being nitpicky. Read more
