This game has been a true blast to play with my friends. It is crossplay so my buddies on PC can play with me on PS5 . You can create your character and join a friends world to continue the story together, build forge bases, upgrade equipment, and battle hordes of Orcs, goblins, trolls, and spiders. Bosses too! When your friends are offline, you can bring your character to your own game world and play which is a nice feature. You can put items in your backpack from your world and bring it to you friends world. The crafting, combat, building, and story are way more in-depth than I originally realized. A true LOTR fan wi be very happy! Read more

I was not expecting to love this game. I mostly bought it as a way to kill time between some big releases that I'm waiting for. But wow oh wow is this fun! I'm not normally a survival game player but I was hooked right away. The crafting is intuitive and fun to discover new item plans, building bases is satisfying, and the combat is basic, but the variety of enemies makes it enjoyable. There is so much to explore and discover I get a little overwhelmed when I move onto a different area, which is a great problem to have! My only complaint is that I have no proper way to pause the game when I'm playing offline. Pretty frustrating and it doesn't make sense to me. I understand the critiques of others about the lag issue, and they are present, but they haven't interfered with the gameplay, so I have been able to ignore it. Read more

I have been playing LOTR Return to Moria for about 15 hours, and I'm still having a blast. It's not perfect by any means, the most annoying thing I've run into so far is the strange stutter step that happens once in a while. It just slows your character down some. And I wish there was more character customization. Outside of those minor complaints, Return to Moria has been killer. I like the combat, it's simple enough for my kids to grasp but it can get crazy. And if you're not good with blocking, dodging, and attacking you can get over run quickly. Crafting the camps is enjoyable too. It pushes you forward in a rewarding way. And the story so far is simple, but as a LOTR fan, I appretiate that it is. It's not trying to add a ton of lore that could get bogged down with details. I love Return to Moria, and if you are a LOTR fan that can actually enjoy things without worring if it fits into the established lore. Return to Moria is a good time. FOR DURIN!! Read more

Not what I was expecting but this game does capture my imagination. Storyline is a bit challenging and not very fast paced. Fights with the bad guys are repetitive. A bit difficult to put yourself in the middle of the game but after a couple hours I'm starting to figure it out. Read more

This game is a really good game to pick up. When it comes to lore, story, graphics, and gameplay, I will say that it is very well put together. If we could take this game and travel more of Middle Earth with different races, this would've and could've been better, but I'll take this for what it is and enjoy it. Read more
