I really like this format for minoxidil. I found the mousse easier to apply than the drops I normally use, and it was substantially less greasy feeling which I REALLY appreciate. This is a 2 oz pump type bottle that releases 5% minoxidil when dispensed. I like the 5% minoxidil versus the 2% because it works faster and more effectively to help me regrow hair. You have to use the product everyday, sometimes twice a day in the morning and evenings on clean wet hair. (If your hair is clean but not wet I usually just keep a water bottle to rewet mine to use this product exactly where I need it). I have found that I mostly need this type of product in the crown of my head where I have the thinnest hair. When the product is dispensed it has no detectable odor or scent. It does foam up nicely in my hand. I took a photo of my finger because this minoxidil foam is thick and stays in place. Also, I noticed after I put this on my hair I don't have any residue left on my fingers and no stickiness, but still wash your hands after using. This product does have a an expiration date on the end of the box but I don't see it printed on the bottle so I would definitely keep the box or make a note of the expiration date if you plan on keeping this in storage for later. One last thing I noticed is that the foam dispense plastic bottle has a little piece of metal foil over the actual dispensing hole itself that needs to be removed before you can use the product.
