I recently purchased a drying towel for my car from Amazon, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. The towel is highly absorbent, making it incredibly effective at drying my car quickly without leaving streaks. In terms of quality, the fabric feels durable and plush, indicating that it’s made from high-grade materials. I’ve washed it multiple times, and it maintains its softness and absorbency without any signs of fraying or thinning. The washability is excellent—it comes out fresh and clean each time, with no lingering residues or odors. When it comes to cleaning ability, this towel effortlessly picks up water and even small debris, making the drying process efficient. I was particularly concerned about potential scratches, but the microfiber texture is ultra-soft and gentle on my car’s paint. I’ve used it on delicate surfaces, including the windows and glossy finishes, without noticing any scratches or swirl marks. Overall, this drying towel is a standout product. It combines superior quality, effective cleaning, and safe use, making it a must-have for any car enthusiast. Read more

I forgot which review site recommended these towels for drying your car. OMG: this towel is truly amazing. It will suck up all the water on a mid-size SUV no problem. The best part for me is that it dries with the windows without any streaks. And no swirl marks on the car's paint (I learned the hard way with our older car before we bought this and another car). I wash it only with other microfiber towels. If you wash it with cotton, you can get little fibers stuck in it and then they can scratch your car (again, don't ask how I learn this the hard way). I can't recommend this towel enough: it is a miracle of science that it can absorb so much water and still dry your entire car and windows. And it takes literally 3-4 minutes to dry your entire car and the windows with this towel. Read more

This will make drying a breeze after you’ve ceramic coated the car whether it be with a spray or the little bottle. I learned that using a drying aid like p&s paint gloss makes the process 10x faster, one swipe of each panel after 1-2 sprays and this towel absorbs everything and most importantly, it does it safely free of any chances of scratching. After having it for maybe 5-6 months it finally started to have little strings stick out kind of like a shirt that has a lose string dangling out of the armpit area. i could just cut em off but im going to go ahead and add another towel to my collection. This towel only does one car at a time before it’s too wet and heavy, and starts to leave streaks. I find that it only leaves streaks at the very end of my drying process which is fine because i go over the car again very quickly with a regular microfiber towel to make sure i got every last drop of water. I wouldn’t be where i am without this towel Read more

I wash my cars all the time but the only one I hand wash, I use this towel on. The wash itself of car is easy but drying has always been a hassle. This is where this towel comes in, it gets a good 90% of water that is standing on car and flipping it over will get the other 25%, this is standing water just sitting on car. Obviously water on sides mainly slides off but on top, that's where I want to get most of water but do least fricting between car and towel. The softness of quality is amazing, the quality is amazing, the color doesnt really matter to me. I have multiples of this towel because sometimes I want to have a 'new' towell when going over same spots for ultimate drying action. I wash this towel after every car wash and it washes well as well, it may have gotten softer after each consequent wash. Read more

I was searching for more Rag Company drying towels and stumbled upon this new one. I didn’t see any reviews yet, so I decided to give it a go. Currently, I have a handful of the Double Twistress towels and I love them. I purchased the Liquid8r in both the 16x16 and 20x24. They were the same price when I got them. You get 2 towels when you get the 16x16 and only 1 when you get the 20x24. (Note: There is no coating on my vehicle) I was able to use one 20x24 to dry most of the water and then use one of the 16x16 to pick up whatever water was left. Overall, this is now my favorite drying towel and will definitely recommend it to anyone. Pros: • Great on Painted and non painted (trim) surfaces • Amazing absorbency properties • Both sizes are very easy to manage and work around all parts of vehicle • Great value for the price • Dries faster than the Double Twistress Cons: • Definitely not a glass towel - Will be grabby on glass after first towel (Use dedicated glass towel for windows) For Glass Towel, I recommend getting both TRC Premium Glass/Window Microfiber Towels and TRC Waffle Weave Microfiber Towels. Those are must haves to reduce/eliminate streaking that the main drying towel cannot provide on glass surfaces. Read more

Love the dreadnought towels! I usually use the bigger ones for detailing. Tried to test these smaller ones to see if they would do the job for a little less money. I needed to use 3 total towels to completey dry a compact SUV. 2 were completely saturated, I tried wringing them out in between but didnt do the trick caused lots of streaking. To eliminate the streaking and to finish completely drying the car I ended up havinh to open my second pack I purchased and used 1 more which did the job. I think for these smaller ones I will probably recommend blowing off most of the water before going right in with the towels. ALSO keep in mind these towels WILL scratch up your paint if you DO NOT use a drying aid, honestly though that goes for any good quality towel on the market like this one. Great quality but just some extra steps to take for the perfect outcome. Read more
