The carbon fiber buckle is well-crafted - a piece of art for those who like carbon fiber products. The belt size is as described, if not a bit longer. I've been able to wear the belt through TSA magnetometers at airports which is why I bought this in the first place. Note that some countries, like UK, make me remove my belt at airport (London Heathrow). I told the guy that this was a carbon fiber buckle that wouldn't set off metal detectors and he responded that he didn't care. Read more

I fly weekly for business and I do TSA precheck. Only thing that always bugged me, even though I love doing TSA precheck, that I always had to deal with the hassle of taking my belt off. Just used this belt for the first time flying back home from Chicago. I was nervous at first that TSA would initially stop me before walking thru the scanner and then it going off. So no one pointed out I had my belt on and cruised right thru the scanner without a beep. Was just awesome just walking thru, grabbing my bag and off I went to my gate. If you fly like I do, I highly recommend getting this belt. Overall, this is a nice belt. It is comfortable and fit just right. The design of the buckle is cool, and it is lighter than the usual. I only take away one star because it is not "TSA compliant" as advertised on their website. You will still have to take it off because the scanners detect "density" (per TSA agents) and not metal. I was really excited about this when I first bought it. I was working in a warehouse that required passing through a metal detector multiple times every day. This belt, and a switch over to composite toed shoes were an absolute life saver. I was always the last person in my group through security and now I'm nearly always the first person through. Unfortunately, even though this belt is great for metal detectors, you are still required to take it off when passing through TSA security (at least I always have). I only wear mine on work days so that it lasts as long as possible, but so far it's held up for about 6 years. Honestly I did not expect the carbon fiber buckle to hold together that long. I'd recommend this to anyone that has to pass through a metal detector regularly. Read more

Really like this belt but am very disappointed with how I was told to measure for size. I did exactly what they recommend and I’m on the last hole of the belt. As I’m still continuing to loss weight this will now be a problem. This much money for a belt I should not have to drill new holes. Read more

Perfect Father's Day gift! I always gift him a nice belt for the holiday and was excited when I found this. He has metal allergies and often even expensive belts will be allergenic and won't have proper labeling to identify any that could be an issue. The leather is solid and a bit stiff but I expect it will break in nicely and there won't be any issues with stretching or deformation that can happen with softer leather belts. He also loves that it is carbon fiber as he has had trim custom made from carbon fiber for his BMW. There was no bubbles in the buckle and it is really lightweight. It seems a bit pricey but you have to consider the life of the product when factoring in price. I expect this should last us several years and there is a lifetime warranty as well that makes this well worth the purchase price. My husband though it looked small compared to his other belt but it measured as expected. (38" is ~38" to middle hole and I only measured leather, not the buckle.) The logo printing is perfectly placed on the bottom side of the buckle so he not a walking advertisement. He's bragged about it to several friends and has been showing it off. I highly recommend. It works as a belt and in the 5 weeks I have had it I have been through airport security metal detectors about a dozen times with no alarm sounding. The quality and finish of the belt seem pretty good. I can’t think of any belt I have had that has fallen apart and as long as the buckle holds up I can’t imagine that this one will either. The color in the Amazon product pictures shows the belt looking maybe a little darker and with a more matte finish that the one I received but then that is always the risk of buying something you cannot physically hold and see. Maybe it will fade and weather with use. I measured an existing belt to the hole most used as suggested but I find that I am using the second hole from the buckle on the new belt (see picture). This is no big issue for me, if I some how manage to lose enough weight to run out of holes I can always make another. I ordered on a Tuesday with an estimated delivery the following Tuesday. It arrived in 2 days on Thursday via USPS so that was a bonus. While my person preference would be for a slightly wider belt with some more choices of color the one I got was pretty much what I expected and does what I need it to do. Airport security is a necessary hassle but this new belt has made it a little more bearable. Read more
