This is exactly what i was looking for! After researching and compsring products, I selected this thermometer and it meets all expectations. It reads the temerature quickly and it is accurate. The light is bright enough to see in daylight and it's disply is easy to read. The magnet allows it to be placed on the refrigerator for easy access...not buried in a drawer. Being waterproof, it can easily be used with liquids and outdoors (i.e. when it starts to rain when grilling...lol) I selected the orange color for better visibility, if it's left outside or falls in the grass.
