These have solid, meaty cotton ends (no shrinkflation here!) and are very comfortable in my ears. Finally found a replacement for Q-tips that have morphed into little more than stick with a speck of cotton. These removed wax immediately after having cleaned with Q-tips. Will definitely buy again! I love these! Better than any regular cotton swabs. The larger cotton tip makes these perfect to clean out my cats ears, apply eye shadow or any other job I'd normally use a regular cotton swab for. More strong and durable. Read more
Note that I use these for cleaning my ears even though experts say you shouldn't. Actually my ENT told me I could do it because I do it the right way and I've done it for many years. Anyway, while these may be great for some purposes, they are not good for cleaning the ears because they are TOO thick. I actually hurt the outer part of my ear (inside But not deep inside) using them because the wood is so stiff and thick - so has not to break apparently - that it rubbed against my ear causing it to get scratched and bleed a little. As I said, you're not really supposed to use cotton swabs to clean your ears anyway, so if you are using this for makeup or other purposes they are probably great. There are very strong and thick as described. But in my experience they are just too thick and strong for cleaning the ear. Read more
