Great for curling my short hair. It is light weight and easy to us. It allows me to change the temperature to a lower setting as my hair doesn't need much heat to curl. It also came with a glove that reduces my chance of burning my hand. Read more

My partner tried out this curling iron, and her feedback is that it's a decent tool for the price. It's very thin (0.35 inch), so it's specifically designed for creating very tight curls. The controls are straightforward, with simple plus/minus buttons to adjust the temperature and a clear digital display that shows the current setting. It also heats up very quickly. It's a no-frills tool, but it does what it's supposed to do. The ceramic barrel seems to glide smoothly, and it successfully creates the small, tight curls it advertises. For the price, it's a solid, functional curling iron. Pros: - Heats up very fast - Clear digital temperature display - Very thin barrel for tight curls - Simple to operate - Good value Cons: - The build feels standard, not high-end (which is fine for the price) If you're looking for a very thin curling iron for a specific style, this is a decent option that works well without a high price tag. If you've ever wanted 80s hair, here you go. This thin curling iron works really well for creating tight curls and spiral pieces, especially if your hair usually struggles to hold shape. The small ceramic barrel heats evenly and gives defined results without making the hair look frizzy. It is easy to handle because the size is lightweight and comfortable to hold during styling. It reaches temperature quickly, so you can start curling almost right away. I liked how well it worked on both short and long hair, and it made it easy to add texture around the face or create a full head of small curls. The curls held on nicely throughout the day with very little effort. The overall quality feels solid, making it a great tool if you want tight, springy curls. I would use this on something like a doll personally. Tight curls are a bit much on a person. But it is sturdy and a good buy for the price. Read more

I am surprised at how much I like this curling wand. Using them generally makes me cranky, because there are so many things I'd change in the design. But THIS curling wand is EXCELLENT! The buttons are nicely placed, so I didn't inadvertently change the setting. And the clamp arm is as long as the heated barrel itself! When dealing with such a slim wand, long hair tends to wind around MANY times, and this arm secures it nicely. (Although I have to acknowledge that for my hair, even though it's long and fairly thick, the curl is pretty much set before I finish winding it!) There's a 1" safety tip on the end that doesn't heat up, and that's perfect. (It seems that it's easier to wind your hair around a thin wand, so I noticed that I wasn't even close to getting a burn. And I like that it has the little wire "stand" attached, so you can put it down on the counter without worrying that it will burn it. And I've never had a curling iron that made such tight curls before! I wouldn't do my entire head in such tight curls, but it will make some really nice curly accents. The only drawback for me is that the lowest setting seemed to be 100 degrees. However, the wand doesn't note that it uses Celsius, not Fahrenheit. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY BE AWARE of that! And for that reason, I'm taking off 1 star. Read more
