These reading glasses are amazing. The case fits on the back of your cell phone nicely and is about 1/8 of an inch thick, including the glasses. I think the glasses are about 1/16th of an inch thick if that, and super lightweight. They also grip your nose very well and will NOT fall off. I showed my mom and did a short video of me shaking my head vigorously in every direction and they stayed firmly in place, she was impressed too. They are very comfortable, and I tested them reading a pretty small font bible for about 3 hours and they did perfectly. HIGHLY recommended if you are tired of having to use your phone's camera every time you go into a restaurant in order to read the menu. These are very, very well done. They are so thin you can use them as a bookmark, they're worth buying. Read more

Incredible , feather light and so convenient. You will never find a better vision aide for all those times you immediately needed and depend on a quality set of readers and wished you had them available. I placed the compact keeper on the back of my phone so whenever I have my phone, I have my readers ready for use in an instant. Small print, menus, instructions and all other visual demands are easily and conveniently accomplished. No waiting, no frustrations, no “can I borrow your glasses “ moments! If you depend on readers for critical tasks and can not be done without glasses, you will be more than grateful for having these Thin optics at your fingertips. Read more

I originally bought 2 pair - one where you fold and put the glasses in a small case on a key chain and the other with a flat sticky case that I put on the back of my phone. OMG - I use the ones on my phone all of the time!!!! I have pretty good vision, but with age, reading glasses are my "go to" and because my vision is ok, I do not always have readers with me, BUT I always have my phone! Anyway, I used the ones on my phone so much, the poor things finally bit the dust. I did not baby them either - they seem fragile but these readers are really quite hearty! Anyway, fortunately I still had the pair on the keychain (which I just keep in my glovebox) so I could slide them into my existing phone sleeve - (the folding style ThinOptics seem compatible for use/storage either way) until I could get the bargain 2 pairs in the mail. These are not intended for, nor do I use them when I have full size reading glasses at hand, but again, if I am out and about - those big ones are not with me! These are my friend! I'm not sure what the original strength was, but I ordered 2.5's this time - "The better to see you, my dear" - and they're great! Read more

They work great for what they are which is very convenient. The problem is that they break easily and the company does not repair or replace. I bot the 3 pack so I wouldn't have to get mad every time I had to replace them. I have them attached to the back of my mobile, which is great when you need reading glasses. Read more

These reading glasses are very handy to keep around. The rectangular shape looks simple and modern, and they sit well on the face. I really like how lightweight they are, since I can wear them for long periods without feeling pressure on my nose. The lenses are clear and make text easy to read, whether it’s a book, a menu, or my phone screen. They also feel durable even though they are so slim. I appreciate that they are easy to slip into a pocket or bag without taking up space. The frame has a flexible feel, so it doesn’t seem like it will snap with normal use. They come in useful when I just need quick magnification and don’t want to carry around bulkier glasses. The design makes them simple to take on and off without fuss. I’ve used them daily for reading and small tasks, and they have held up well. Overall, they are a practical and reliable pair of readers that make life a little easier. Read more

I use these glasses all time, and that's the problem. The "Universal Pod Case" that's attached to the back of my phone has some design issues. I've changed cases already, so that's not the problem. The case is made of a hard plastic and the opening is somewhat sharp. It will very easily scratch these lenses with normal use. My previous two pairs lasted only about a month before the scratches ruined them. Thin Optics will not accept returns for scratches due to "normal wear". However, in this situation the scratches are due to a design flaw, and practically unavoidable with every day use. Hmmm. The problem is that the case opening is narrow, and it's very easy for the lenses to catch the edge when stowing the glasses. The lenses are designed with a raised edge on one side of the frames to help protect the lenses when inserted on that side. However, unless you are extremely careful, and insert the glasses precisely in the case at the exact angle of the opening...they WILL get scratched. I guess it may be possible to do stow them precisely but then the convenience of the glasses is totally lost. I don't need to be spending 30 seconds painstakingly stowing my glasses away each time like I'm defusing a nuclear warhead. Soooo. Since I love these glasses and hate the case, I came up with an easy homemade fix... Electrical Tape Glide Strip: Electrical tape is durable, very soft, and has good adhesion. A few pieces bent around the case opening edge has been working like a charm for me after a few days of use. Okay, so it's not exactly super fashionable, but I used black tape on a black case so it's hardly even noticeable. More importantly...no more case lens scratches! Fix your case Thin Optics! Read more
