Put this up near the top of year list in the price ranch and feature matrix. They wash well and I Just fold out of the dryer but iron the pillow cases (life hack: always iron your pillow cases to feel like all is right with the world and for sweet dreams). The sheets have a lovely crispness and weight on the bed that kind of makes me imagine I might be at a high-end hotel- maybe in Istanbul- instead of in my suburban LA home. They have a coolness and smoothness that whispers "classy sheets, Girl, slide on in!) that lasts for multiple sleeps. They are sturdy so far, too, because both my dogs have to jump around on the bed and knock the comforter off playing, and scratch around on the sheets with their big ol' dog toenails. No snagging or damage, the sheets just laugh at paw dirt which brushes right off. And the stripes- love the wide but subtle stripes. That actually adds a bit of Parisian flair, somehow, like maybe I should wear a beret to bed? Now, I am slightly disconcerted that the stripes run headboard-to-footboard on the sheets, and bedside to bedside (90 degrees to sheet stripes) on the pillowcases, but I'm learning to accept this skew in my slumber routine... Bought two sets of these sheets four years ago. They are still going strong. They are smooth and crisp and comfortable to sleep on. No pilling. I check-in every so often to see if there's a really great deal going on. While they are worth every penny of their regular price the truth is, because they have held up so well, I just don't need new ones yet. So San's finding a great deal. Ordering sheets online can be hit or miss. More often than not what you receive is something made of cheap fabric that doesn't fit and is of poor quality. That is not the case with this bedding. I have a Tempurpedic mattress with an adjustable frame. Due to its thickness, it isn't easy to find sheets that will fit. Because the bed is adjustable, when the mattress bends, if a fitted sheet only has elastic at the corners it slips off. So, given all this, I didn't have very high expectations when I ordered these. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The softness of these 500 thread count sheets confirms that they are ineed made from long fiber cotton. At this thread count, if a manufacturer uses cheap, low-quality cotton, you know because the sheets will be rough and no amount of fabric softener will fix it. I bought my first set of these a year ago. I have laundered them at least weekly, sometimes more, because I have pets. These sheets have held up remarkably! They have not frayed or ripped and their navy blue color has not faded. The sheets are of medium weight and good for year-round use. They also fit my mattress perfectly and the full circumference elastic means they don't slip off. The only suggestion I have is be sure to fold them as soon as they come out of the dryer.
