This is very comfortable, it is supportive on my wrist and supports and holds my thumb; however it’s not too so much that I can’t move it at all. It feels very effective and I feel like I will be able to sleep with this at night. The size is great, it’s smaller and not too bulky. Very stable and lots of adjustments on the wrist and thumb. For the price I would recommend this! Read more
This thumb and wrist brace is phenomenal. It has a slimmed down profile and only extends about 2 inches past your wrist. I found it to give me immediate pain relief in my thumb and wrist. It is very comfortable and not bulky and does the best job in immobilizing your thumb. Yet your remaining fingers are still able to be engaged. So far it is the best brace I have found! Read more
I love the color of this brace, and the ability to support my thumb as well as my wrists. Unfortunately, the velcro wears out pretty quickly. But I have had it for a few months. So I got one for bedtime, and one I keep in my purse just for when I go out. The one I use when I'm out hasn't really pulled at the velcro too much, since I'm not taking it on and off as often as I do with the one I use at home. Read more

I started having pain and cramps in my hand when I tried to fold towels, pick up things like my water tumbler, anything that required a pinching motion with my thumb. I am a retired nurse and had carpal tunnel surgery a number of years ago and trigger finger release in my other hand a few years ago. I really didn't want hand surgery again and it might be just tendonitis, so I decided to try a hand brace and ice first. I used the ice regularly for a few weeks and it got better, but I got some cast iron pots and pans and lifting them made the pain worsen again. This wrist brace was showing the dirt from usage and hand lotion quite a bit by then so I decided to try putting it in the washer because hand washing wasn't getting the job done. I put it in a zippered bag meant for delicates so the velcro wouldn't get caught on anything. It came out looking brand new. Whenever my hand is giving me problems I wear the brace, even at night. I have to take it off to cook and wash dishes but it goes back on afterwards. It really helps. The edge of the brace rests right on the edge of the cuticle at the base of my thumb nail and irritates it but wearing a band aid over my thumb nail takes care of that. The hook and loop closure probably isn't Velcro but another brand. It sticks too strongly to the elastic. It stays in place but is really hard to undo on the wrist strap. I have to undo the thumb and hand straps then slide the brace over my hand because it takes two hands to pull the hook section off the elastic strap around the wrist. I like that it can be used on either the right or left hand, one size fits all (I have large hands for a woman), and the level of support it gives. For awhile any flexing of my thumb hurt so I cut a foam based emory board short enough to cover my thumb and padded it with some gauze. I slid it down my thumb inside the strap and fastened the strap tight enough so my thumb didn't flex without making it so tight my thumb turned purple. I released the strap periodically just to make sure the circulation was still ok. After a few weeks of that that joint stopped hurting. Today it is my wrist that hurts more and I'm pretty sure it is from lifting the heavy pots and holding my tablet to read books for long intervals. I might have to break out the ice packs again but wearing the brace really helps. Read more
It is a okay brace at best for the cheaper price. It doesn't really stop your wrist from bending back and forth but it does brace your thumb pretty well, which is what I bought it for. I also have a smaller wrist and hand, and it doesn't fit super well on me. I have to tighten it a considerable amount around the wrist for it to feel snug. This warps the brace a bit and the tightness makes it feel a little uncomfortable. But it is bearable. The wrap around the thumb kind of cuts off my circulation no matter how loose I make it (without making it completely loose). This is only after a few minutes of wearing. For it to not cut off my circulation I have to tense my thumb straight. Which you would hope it would do for you. But when I relax my hand and thumb it starts to go cold and numb. I think it's just poor structure. Overall, it's fine if you're on a budget. But I don't think it's quality at all and wouldn't buy again. The wrist brace I bought from target for a similar price is leagues better than this. Read more
