I don't know why I thought I could buy this and make a mask/scrub that I can put in a jar and use when I need to. Even with preservative, it turned brown. The powder itself is green. I've purchased this before and made green tea with it, so it tastes great. It does have some gritty texture as it doesn't dissolve completely. You can get around that by using tea bags, I think. It works well in smoothies and shakes. There's no sugar, so if you like that you will have to add it. I would say that it's easy to figure out how to make it. It's a decent value for the money. This is pretty decent matcha powder. We like to make iced matcha every morning to start the day. It's pretty decently priced for a good amount of matcha. The taste and smell are pretty good. The matcha goes down nice and smooth. Read more

I don’t know if it’s healthier than other matcha teas on the market but it’s tastier than other matcha teas that I’ve tried. I wonder if their other teas are yummy too? I’ve been trying it in a variety of ways, mixing it with… this will last me a while 👌 Read more

Good affordable organic matcha! It's a good matcha for everyday and it tastes good. It is slightly bitter as with any matcha. The color is not vivid green but a muddy green, reminds me of my clay facial mud mask ha! It's closer in color to the second picture since the first one has a photo filter. Read more

I’ve been ordering ceremonial grade matcha for quiet some time and decided to cheap out this time (because people say there is no difference between ceremonial and culinary grade) and try a different brand to get more oz per order and I instantly regretted my decision when I tried this matcha. It is so hard to break through the bitterness and you have to add tonssss of sweetener and additional products to make it taste semi normal (which I hardly sweeten my matcha to begin with so making this wasn’t a fun experience. Spoiler alert I couldn’t drink it) I could tell instantly because of the color of this powder as well. It’s a dark green vs vibrant green. I’ve never cooked with matcha so I can’t speak as to how it would performs if used as intended. My review is solely based off if you’re using this to make lattes or drinks vs baking with it. This is my first experience with matcha, and I'm so pleased! It stays powdery and doesn't clump. I have a matcha set, so I use a bamboo scoop and bamboo whisk to make my tea. It is delightful! I use two scoops per cup, and the taste is great. I don't even need to use honey or sweetener. Highly recommend. Read more
